Is he talking about the post-war consensus? The one set up by Labour PM Clement Attlee and then supported by Churchill and every Conservative right up until ’79 (when a certain figure decided she wanted to dismantle all that?)
Either he’s got some nerve! Or he should seriously consider crossing the floor, or I must’ve missed something in the papers.
lenimarlene is in no way deluded, now that's a fact. The conservative council in the area I am unfortuanate ennough to reside in, has one of the most deprived areas in West Sussex and the under investment in the poverty areas has been less so over the last 15 years, but yet the investment in those affluent areas has greatly increased. The proof is in the pudding and is factual.
Camerone and Osborne are both millionaires.Theya nd their friends snort cocaine why poor kids are murded in drug related crimes.Polly Toynebee is a shameless hypocrite. Why would any real Conservative want to copy her?I would vote tory if they had any real policies.
They did - did you vote in 2005? Otherwise you can't really complain. I worked my arse off in 05 and got shat on by my own party afterwards. Ironically so did Michael Howard.
How can you possibly imply firstly that Tories are millionaires, secondly that none of them are willing to pay higher taxes, and thirdly, and most importantly, that higher taxes automatically solve the problems of poverty. I feel you might be somewhat deluded.
bullshit lenimarlene you know nothing about society and economics-high taxation does not help the poor it depresses the economy, deters investment, prevents social mobility and stops young potential entrepreneurs setting up businesses the poor can only be helpede by supporting business and encouraging people to set up businesses thru low taxes
HANG ON!

Yes, he's as uncharismatic in real life as he is on video. I've met him, and he's just any other Tory - lying to appear more reasonable.
