I am from tejas. lived in califa middle to late sixtes. fresno. went to roosevelt high. some weekends would visit my cousins living in santa ana calif. thats when i got hook on midniters. takes me back to summer of 68. also got to see ray camacho at rainbow ballroom in fresno. man, i wanted to stay in califa. but jefes came back to tejas. love the califa sounds.

How long ago was that if you do not mind me asking? Alot of people that I grew up with are still living in the old nieghborhood. I live in San Francisco now but the Midniters songs and the oldies take me back to my roots. Can you share more stories with me?

Sure, It was around the years 97' thru 2000. I was like 9 or 10, we would sleep over there off and on. And we would always visit my neighbors right next door, they were so cool. My tias house was on Ave.25 to be exact.

I know where that is. Wow, time goes by so fast. I was raised in Rose Hills in the 50's and 60's. When I hear the oldies it always takes me back and I wonder who is still living and who has passed on. It seems just like yesterday. I went to Our Lady of Guadalupe Grammer school so maybe I know your tia. My brother went to Lincoln H.S. I took a ride with an old friend two years ago to see the nieghborhood and we were playing oldies. It still looks the same.
