These guys are the best. Saw them twice and they were great both times :) I felt like I went back in time..my friend and I were the only 17/18 yr old girls there! haa
@ugroseno I saw another Beatles band recently, and this song was not as good. It was merely "A guy singing Roll Over Beethoven, with the Beatles arrangement."
they are not identical to them but they are the closest i will ever see! :D but i just wish i old enough to go with my dad when these guys came to our small town... i wonder in they will ever go here again :P
@QueenBeatlesWings I've seen Gavin perform with them three times and every time, the only George song was "Here Comes the Sun." In one case they stuck to their most common "hits" setlist, but the other times they did a variety of songs. Yet nothing but "Sun" for George/Gavin.
@holychaos3 They have belt packs that have something to do with the sound system (anyone care to explain how they work?) But I don't think there was any such thing in the Beatle era. So when they reach back to them, it ruins the illusion of the 1960s (like when they drink water from half-liter clear plastic bottles between songs...)
@holyvhaos3 I really don't think that the 1960's had competent mics either, but your not meant to care because it sounds good and the instuments are correct (like John's Rickenbacker all the way to Georges Gibson SG) and they have period correct clothes. So your kinda meant to ignore all the modern equipment and emerse yourself in the music. RIP John, i hope your jamming with the posthumous greats of music right now.
I have seen no less than 20 Beatle tribute bands over the last 30 years or so, most were very good some were excellent these guys rate up with the best of them, in my opinion
The little head-jerk at 2.05 is very McCartney! Cool that they found a lefty as well. I could have sworn Lennon sung this, but I'm probably just confused. Cute tribute band!
We'll cut you some slack on that because you're so young. John usually sounded like he had a "tight throat" while George seemed to struggle a bit dealing with his somewhat out-of-line teeth. He got them fixed later.
Anyway, that's how I learned to tell them apart on records.
Ahh I see, poor George and his teeth! There are some early versions floating around where John sings though? I thought maybe George took over the vocal later on? Don't know, I will investigate this further, one can never have too much Beatles trivia!
I think one of the covers Ringo sang with the Beatles, had previously been sung by John. (Maybe someone will pitch in here and remind me which one it was.)
@HerzogsShoe their "Paul" is a rihgty- he learned to play lefty though which is cool. no, George sung this on album and live- its not a Beatles song- its a Chuck Berry song. George sings it on Anthology 1. I love their "George too" hes also from liverpool so its very real
ok pete,i'll have a look, but i posted this comment after seeing lots of their videos,i didn't talk actually just about this song,i also love their attitudes, their sense of humour, the way they talk between each song, their accent when they sing, they also do the same mistakes as the beatles did!i'll have a look to you videos!thanks!
I am with you, FrenchTouch ...overall, The Fab Four is the ULTIMATE tribute Beatles' band. They cover everything from the Hamburg days through the solo years! Did you catch the Sgt. Pepper show at the House of Blues in Anaheim in November 2007? No other tribute band comes close! Rock on mates!

I was thinking of "Honey Don't" which is on the "BBC" double CD, sung by John in September 1963 (later turned over to Ringo.)

@jkfan2005 maybe, did they do a cover of I wanna be your man, because i think that john sang that first and then paul and ringo sang it?
