Is the game's fighting system similair to Phantom Brave's?I passed all disgaea's(except 4) and have begun Phantom Brave(Ash level 50) and I gotta say Phantom Brave is very different from Disgaea in terms of gameplay,and makai kingdom reminds me of Phantom Brave(again,in terms of gameplay).Would you say they are similar?

@RaiceaAndrei111 i'd say this is a combination of Disgaea and Phantom Brave in a way. One way is that you will see Marona, Etna, Laharl and Flonne (info from Disgaea Wikia). Also, this takes place in the netherworld(Disgaea) while gameplay is similar to PB

@Crakization lol dude you don't have to tell me who Etna,Laharl and Flonne are(cameos) in Makai Kingdom.By "I passed disgaea 1,2,3" I meant that I spent 200+ hours on each.So yeah I'm pretty much a veteran to the disgaea system and starting to be so in the phantom brave system aswell.One thing I noticed different is that in Makai Kingdom you don't confine to object and you can't move zetta(only INVITE?like how confine was)and he's level 2000 :D

ya know this is really a very good game (one of my fav.) love their punchline makes me laugh every time, and has a nice story a woman who fell in love with a man who is blinded by power and she would even sacrifice her own life so just the man can make his dream come true.... i highly recommend it^^

i love zetta's human form. come on his hair is on fire but then if you look at it the parts of the fire that break off become firey bats. and his coat looks like its made of raw dark energy. plus his character sprite has parts that are constantly moving. and on top of all that he has the energy/aura around his feet going constantly. its no wonder he says hes the most badass freaking overlord. zetta rocks

The voice acting changed in Disgaea 2, which REALLY pissed me off to no end. I was outraged on how they couldn't have just stolen the Zetta beam from the Corn episode, but nooo.
