  • She's pretty

  • Good God, shes hot... fix my faucet Honey

  • The last spout I had to take off had been in place for over 50 years...it was pretty tough to get off, a plumbers torch and pair of vice grips helped tremendously.

  • I would do soooo many home improvements if she was my assistant. Lol, she was chewing gum.

  • Thanks for the video - another DIY book that I had made this look much more involved than it actually was, so I put off the repair for too long as a result. After seeing this, I made sure to pick up my replacement hardware at HD as a think you for putting this video out there.

  • I had someone replace my shower wall and put a new shower head in and bath spout, but they didnt put in the bath spout. Now I just have the pipe that the spout connects to and its long and curved....is this normal? Please respond.

  • Is it mandatory to put your old tub spout in a zip lock bag? :P

  • Thanks for this, especially the tip for inserting screwdriver for screw on version.

  • She can pull on my spout any damn time...

  • very easy thanks ...

  • looks like she's playing with 6 inches sticking out of a glory hole

  • You do not have to use pipe dope along with teflon.Teflon will be suffice and it does go on clockwise.I have been in this trade for over 30 years. One thing I do suggest is where the pipe goes threw the acrylic bathtub;either put some silicone caulking there or once you have your spot on put a fine bead around the spot. The reason is when getting a shower the water will bounce off your body and slide down the wall and into the spout hole.Good luck and have a great day!!!! Al

  • My spout is on really tight. I tried to get leverage with a screwdriver; even tried a wrench and pliers and nothing. I'm afraid it's on so tight I'll damage the pipe if I try harder. Help?

  • She's very slow.

  • THUMBS THIS UP PLEASE TO HELP OTHERS ;) these are good general directions BUT .... what they didnt tell you is 1 put the teflon tape on CLOCKWISE ..IMPORTANT... if you do it backwards it will NOT WORK!... 2 also use number 5 pipe dope its yellow at home depot .... so dope tape dope.... lightly put dope on all threads then tape..... 5 to 6 times which they forgot!!!!! then put another ring of dope on the end of the threads ;) THANK YOU GUYS

  • She could handle my spout any time ;)

  • Long live the Duke and Dutchess of Cambridge!

  • I am no expert but can anyone tell me how many times around clock wise you suppose to lock the nose the pipe?

  • "I swear this fleshy pipe was copper a second ago..."

  • glory hole

  • Can I replace the tub faucet with a simple hand held shower wand? Anybody know?

  • If the spout won't turn with normal force, you can either try heating the spout to loosen it, break the spout apart to get at the joint, or probably cheapest, call a plumber. If you twist the pipe, or break it off in the wall, it's at least a couple of hundred dollars to get it repaired.

  • @MrTommybadger Bless you, person on the internet. Bless your soul for that tip.

  • She could work my pipe anyday, oh yeah!

Jk, i'll bet she has a fantastic personality.

  • @ryan50ryan

    oh god, lol'd so hard.

  • I have the set screw spout but my problem is that I can't get the spout to just slip on? Any suggestions?

  • I bought a new universal spout from Home Depot since the washer inside the old universal spout's diverter was busted and was letting a lot of water out. The new spout (Danco 88703X) does a better job of cutting off the water but some still gets through. Shouldn't the diverter prevent ALL water from leaving the spout?

  • @relovett ,

I'm not sure, but it may be incapable shower head.

  • @relovett

I am finding the same situation with my spout. The plumber supplier store told me that this is normal, but I think it should not be normal (specially when trying to save natural resources). I am puzzle...

  • What the hell? Mine doesnt even budge when I try to turn it, Im turning it left, and there is no hex screw on the bottom. I dont want to try to turn it with full force and break something. Any advice?

  • Thanks for help, very detailed.

  • I should have read the comments first, busted my tube right off. Home Depot should not use brand new equipment when showing how to replace something. It makes it look too easy! They should warn you of the pitfalls that may happen and what to look out for. These problems are very common but are unexpected by the novice.

  • @kayakmiami Why warn you? Then when you break something you go to them for new parts! They do this on purpose.

  • Camera guy should turn on the water and get her shirt wet.

  • nice vdo waiting for part 2 where she actually uses that spout and the music is just fine

  • @ 1:20 looks like a glory hole scene.

  • Although 1.04 is causing me serious mental pain, and why do woman always have to get out the tape measure?

  • This is such a rude video. I love the way she handles that tap though. I want to see her drink some water from it!!!

  • Hot chick on her knees, working a pipe with her hands. Is someone at Home Depot trying to send a subliminal message?

  • wish she had "plumber's butt" ( Y )

  • ...She can work on my SPOUT anytime!...

  • Its so easy that a women can do it!

  • As a child, Did the bathtub ever looked out of place to you sitting in the side of the restroom? Meaning it is out of geometry?

  • My spout is only a year old and was installed by a plumber contractor. The handle won't stay up for the shower to function. Does this mean I need another new spout? I tried to hand turn the know to tighten, but it doesn't tighten.

  • That chick can work on my plumbing any time.

  • Water is leaking/dripping from my spout. Will the problem be solved if get a new spout?

  • She's hot! = D

  • my spout is leaking.I guess I need to change the stem first that causing the leak before changing the spout?

  • never mind the caulking, they failed to tell people or show them how to shut off the water supply before doing anything .

  • you don't have to turn off the water supply, the faucet already shuts off the water.

  • forgot the caulking between spout and wall. hello mold and rot.2000.00 dollars please.

  • That's it, just replace it for a fresh look, rip. She had a slip on, then it was a screw on. Big problem this breaks down way too fast, especially for the price. I have the slip on one that has plastic pipe inside. I coated the metal threads with JB weld after lightly greasing the plastic threads, then screwed it on. Heated it up & spun it out the spout til thin. Then coated the spout mouth with the epoxy and heated to thin. Now it won't corrode and end up breaking down and leaking after a year

  • god stuff!

  • that was easy!!

  • Who is the chick?

  • @NeedsEvidence I was thinking the same thing lol shes hot !

  • no you don't have to turn off the water from the house, the valve already shuts off the water. please know what you are talking about before making a comment .

  • oh and by the way, you should turn off the water to the house first. they could have mentioned this in the video.

  • Comment removed

  • that chick is hot

  • You're the best - this really helped us!

  • LOL @ "water pump plyers"!!! LOL

  • I'll tell you what. If you have an old screw on type spout and it won't turn you had better be careful, because you could break the pipe, especially if the pipe is old. Then you are in for some real work.

  • Hmmm....there should be a follow up video named: How to Remove Blond from My Tub" !

  • wrap the threadtape clockwise too, or it will bunch up and leak.

  • she looks like the lady off of DIY!!

  • real good vid thanks HD

  • she can work in my bathtub anytime.

  • oh yeah mine too.
