My two cents (please consider the source)
The main character and the doctor were particularly well acted and I really liked the father son relationship, their dialogue seemed honest.
The writing was superb, it never seemed like the actors had to act. It had a genuine quality to it.
There was a hint of humor which was really well placed and not over done.
A compelling, enjoyable, well acted story with a happy ending.
