  • I was at this game and I remember the ULL fans being completely amazed and saying how wonderful they were.

  • Damn shame what Southern did to that band...lol

  • That was pretty clever having a MJ prop. Entertaining!

  • In 2002-03 Southern was dangerous and in 05 as well. We played them in 03 when Tramiel was suspended at Valley and Milton had the band. Southern has been number one in my book any day or year.

  • southern was actually good this year havent been this good since 2005

  • at 1:45 guy front row no cape the back of the overlay is ridikulous i think they should march a game with no capes

  • He had a cape, it was flipped to the front, a thing that happens sometimes. Yes, the back of the overlay is nice.

  • oh i couldnt see it

  • On one of the other videos (shown from the front), you could see his cape came over his shoulders and was flipped in front.

  • ill look for it

  • This is REALLY good...Southern knows how to entertain..Ya'll betta get it!!!

  • Go Jags!!!

  • Is it possible to think that uls band doesn't want to look like that? Cuz we don't! You can't hardly compare the two bands. Yea, they put on a great show, but personally, I prefer playing music than blasting notes as loud as I can and dancing with an instrument....

  • Thank you to each its own. Both bands put on THEIR with excellence

  • also consider the fact that southern also chose to do a rather terrible arrangement.

b/f you guys start trollin me, I've seen the score. it's rather ugly

  • the score is ugly, wat does that mean?

  • you know the soundpower series, some of the parts look handwritten. it also has a ton of unison and the notes from different staves touch each other

  • The Pride of Acadiana was playing music?! I just thought they were walking around in uniforms holding instruments all night. No one could hear their music in that staduim, even when you are sitting in the section next to them. They looked terrible even for a DCI style marching band. Take notes from bands like LSU, Texas, etc: Crisp marching, precise formation, clean, clear music that can be heard by everyone in the stadium. The point of the performance is to entertain, which ULL failed to do

  • i agree completely.

vandebilt catholic high school is actually better than ul's band.they're smaller and louder.

at any rate, if you look at ul's performances, uniformity of basics is absent. they'd be infinitely better if they did that.

  • hell Lafayette High is better then ULs band... Comeaux USED to be in my days, theyve fallen off since Robins days.

  • You couldn't even if you wanted to match the years of consistency this band has put out so let's get that straight.

  • r u serious, yall we got PWC schools hating now, ALRIGHT JUKEBOX!!!!!!

  • Cuz you cant.

    Its called entertainment.

Look at the views from the original video of this performance and the views from ull. Its speaks for its self , people wanna be entertained not be bored from hearing circus music being played

  • blasting.....just hate what you don't understand,its called power

  • blasting is misconstrued often. it doesn't sound bad if everyone does it. but if you have some people playing louder than others, it breaks down fairly quick.

so props to the jukebox for uniformity, which is more than I can say for ul

  • now thats entertaining!.....Brian Taylor , you had better be taking notes.

  • Sheesh, does the camera man have coffee jitters?

  • LOL! You would think i did. But no, we I was in the ULL student section and they kept jumpin around and bumpin into me and stuff

  • Great Job JukeBox!
