Nope. I made a full frame green jpg RGB 0,255,0 and put that up on my flatscreen TV and it was even and bright enough to pull that key even though the white balance was slightly off.
Whether you like Fusion or not (rather, hate it as it seems goonhand has unusually strong feelings about his compositing software of choice - dude, it's just a tool!), this video clip was brilliantly entertaining.
Thanks for the laugh-out-loud (intentionally spelled out!) chuckle.
Um, I don't think Fusion 6 includes any real keyers that are good for doing final shots. I have never heard of anyone using Ultrakeyer for anything other than a temp key. I've always used Primatte, Keylight, or Ultimate plugins, which don't come with Fuison.
we used it all the time on BSG and I use it all the time on other shows.
This is a brillant video guys.
The only reason nuke and shake have got any traction in the market is because its moron-ware. Morons shot the VFX, morons post the FX.
Brain damage is all around in the compositing world. Look at any toxik compositors work flow and you will spaghetti and meat balls all over the place. Sigh...
I would really like it, if that was true, but Fusion comes with a demo version of Primatte. Unfortunately. Otherwise those keys would've probably been better :-)

haha. why am I not surprised to see that green dress shot at 1:32. Did you actually have to work on that?

1:46 Be honest, did you just shoot blue screen and replace it with a green screen? :)

Fun.

it's actually incredibly easy, if you shot it with a bluescreen like you're supposed to. Still, a hilarious video

Of course it's not easy if you use a piece of garbage like Fusion. It's pretty easy with real compositing software!
