If you listen to the lyrics of Tootsie Roll you will hear "The butterfly, uh uh that's old. Let me see your tootsee roll." So 69 Boyz tried to make it different but it is ultimately its still the butterfly .

I teach this move also in my classes and this is one of the ways you can do it. I personally prefer it done where you actually engage your pelvis, lower stomach and lower back in conjunction with the leg work but that is personal preference. I don't think either of them was bad at it for the way that they are doing it.

My favourite for doing the Butterfly was DHQ Carlene. She was so smooth and she rolled her waist more with it.
