  • Where are all the women?

  • @ronhaslam38 women and men are not to mix during occassions such as this, and although during Hajj it is a diff scenario, the practice in day to day dealings are not encouraged. as for the actual salawaat, womens aura is extended to her voice, exceptions were to Aysha RA who gave cousel from behind a veil after our beloved Nabi SAW passed away as she was most knwledgaeble.

  • @farzana1kitty Why can't women and men mix? What's the problem? WHO DECLARED THEY SHOULD NOT MIX? ANSWER THAT IF YOU CAN!

  • @ronhaslam38 The body of evidence showing that women and men should not mix freely with one another is quite large. We will briefly mention some of it:

    1. Allah says: "And when you ask the ladies for anything, ask them from before a screen. That makes for greater purity for your hearts and for theirs." [Srah al-Ahzab: 53] For women to go about uncovered in the company of men is inarguably a gross violation of the command given in this verse.

  • @farzana1kitty What rubbish! lol.

  • @farzana1kitty This unnatural separation of the sexes is nothing to do with 'knowledge', it's just plain stupid and primitive behaviour!

  • 2. It is prohibited for men to join women in one place in the absence of at least one of the women's close male relatives. The Prophet (peace be upon him) forbade men and women from being alone together. He said: "Never is a man alone with a woman except that Satan is the third party with them."

  • @farzana1kitty So your saying all men are rapists and your women can't be trusted? You treat women like cattle!

  • 3. There are numerous evidences that the woman may not shake hands with men who are not among her closest relatives.

  • The Prophet (saw) never shook hands with an unrelated woman. Umaymah b. Raqiqah said: "I came to the Prophet (saw) with a group of the women of Madinah to swear fealty for Islam. The women informed Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) that they wished to swear fealty to him. The Prophet (saw) said: 'I do not shake hands with women. The way I accept the pledge from one woman is the same as with one hundred women." [al-Muwatta', Sunan al-Tirmidhi, Sunan al-Nasa'i and Sunan Ibn Majah].

  • @farzana1kitty ??????

  • The Prophet (peace be upon him) also said: "It is better for one of you to be pierced by a steel pin in his head than to touch the hand of a strange woman." [Al-Mundhiri mentions that all the narrators of this hadith are trustworthy. Al-Albani classifies it as a good hadith in Ghayah al-Maram (no. 403).]

  • 4. The Qur'an clearly forbids women from being soft of speech while talking to men. Allah says: "Be not too complaisant of speech, lest one in whose heart is a disease should be moved with desire: but speak with a speech (that is) proper." [Srah al-Ahzab: 32].

  • @ronhaslam38 5. There is evidence that women may not sit with strange men while wearing perfume. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Any woman who puts on perfume then goes and passes by some men to let them find her scent is a type of adulteress." [Musnad Ahmad, Sunan al-Tirmidhi, Sunan Abi Dawd, and Sunan al-Nasa'i with a sound chain of transmission]

  • @ronhaslam38 6. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "The best of rows in prayer for the man is the first row and the worst for him is the last, and the best of rows for the women is the last row and the worst for her is the first." [Sahih Muslim].

If this advice is being given for men and women when they are in their purest frame of mind and engaged in prayer, then how should they be expected to conduct themselves in other situations?

  • @ronhaslam38 clear from ur insightful comments that u dont seek any knowledge and not capable of respect. have a gud day chomp.....

  • @farzana1kitty Knowledge? Don't you mean civilised behaviour? Your a nut case!

  • i feel slightly embarassed watching this...Allahu A3lam...may Allah guide us to that which He loves

  • i think only music instruments from strings are frownd upon, but according to my history lessons when the Nabi SAW entered Madina the people rejoiced singing songs of praise using instruments as well

  • @farzana1kitty Does it matter?!

  • @farzana1kitty Does it matter?!

  • @farzana1kitty Does it matter?!

  • Subhanallah - This is wrong on so many levels: beats, jingles - wonder if the prophet (saw) would ever endorse a salawat on him like this...

  • @sabrar Wen the Nabi SAW entered into Madina people cheered and sang using intruments to welcome his return, it was in this instance that his beloved camel, lead him to the home he took his rest. Its not for u or me to judge wat is wrng or right, but for Allah to see the Niyaat with which the deed is carried out. May Allah guide us all to a path of acceptance and realisation,
