why do i get black screen when i click load in the game

@11Nidzo11 I don't know. I have heard about this issue before, but as I've never had it, I've never bothered to look more into it. Try Googling your problem, but make sure that you get the fix for THIS older version and not the NEW sim with the same title.

@FlyboyHelosim I searched Google there are only few threads about this older version of game. In one thread it says to download latest C++ library, i downloaded that and i have the newest graphic card drivers. I use Genius Driver Update for drivers and i have all drivers up to date. Sorry for my english.

Sorry, you have to up-load it in higher graphics to keep me interested. 360 just doesn't cut it today. Try 720 or 1080.

People judge games by how they look from other viewers. Otherwise they just go elsewhere like I did. This wasn't meant to be an insult. People in general just would like to see better graphics to get a clue of what the game would look like. That's of course all up to you. There are many others that have HD 720, or 1080 That I'd rather view. Especially this game in this day & age of HD.

@year20109 Well coming from a 14-year-old Canadian, I shall take no offense at that remark - as you obviously know nothing about it anyhow. Besides, the flight model sucks in this game - so I think I can be forgiven for making it look bad (if I do so anyhow).

@IWannabeJew Yeah there is a lot of pwnage, mainly because it is an arcade-style helo sim rather than a realistic sim. You might also consider Gunship! - a tad more realistic and probably more similar to Gunship on the Commodore.

@IWannabeJew I don't really know. If they are, it's just how the video capture program interpreted them. If you are referring specifically to the chaingun - that's how it sounds in-game, especially after the two-barrel upgrade! ;)

@IWannabeJew No, they just act as solid slugs. No fragmentation or explosion whatsoever. I think in Apache Longbow Assault, the rounds do actually explode - offering some amount of 'splash' damage.

Well to get rid of the air defense you obviously have to find the threat, lock on to it and then use Hellfires for best results.
