Still don't know why people call this dubstep. Has nothing to do with dub. Hardly any bass. People should really come up with a name for this genre. If you compare Skrillex, Hooky, Knife Party, Chaosphere, and Helicopter Showdown to Peverelist, Phaelah, 2562, Skream, King Cannibal,and many other oldschool producers they have nothing in common except maybe beats per minute. Which isn't exactly a defining characteristic of any genre except speedcore and splittercore.
