First of all, we know the wait in both lines was long, but with that many people of course it's going to take a while when you stop to consider that each person on will call has to be checked off of a list before they can go inside.

Second, we had people going up and down both lines periodically letting you know which line was which.

But could things have run more smoothly? Sure - and we'll aim to do better next time.

well here's some ideas:

set up a booth outside just for people without tickets and after they buy the tickets, they can get in the advanced ticket line.

that way, when people already have their hard copies, you guys can just rip em and let people walk through with minimal stopping.

it just wasn't fair to me and my friends cuz we drove over 3 hours for emarosa and missed them cuz the line wasn't moving. and we weren't even that far from the door.

That's a decent idea, but the logistics of it in the context of a sold out show probably would not work - as in, you're talking about creating a new line for people to get hard copy tickets, and then having to get in the advance ticket line before they can go inside (more waiting.)

i don't feel that people showing up at the last minute deserve to have same chances of being closer to the stage as people that went ahead and bought tickets online. if we stick with your current logic, whats the point of presales?

you presale to avoid waiting which is a great idea but putting advanced sales and people with no tickets in the same line and completely out of order defeats the whole purpose.

we were in line for 2 hours and we didnt have a single person come down the back of the line to tell us we were in the wrong line. obviously it didnt matter, bc even if we had been in the correct line, we still wouldnt have been able to get in. and for the record, buying tickets in advance isnt that easy when you're living pay check to paycheck. try being laid off for 4 months and finally having something to look forward to just to have it thrown in your face like that.
