  • Thats not how I do my poached eggs. She's saying you can flavour poached eggs. You can't because the gutherine of the egg can't hold. The only thing you can do with poached eggs is use vinegar. Vinegar will hold the egg together.

  • this is the gross way the easy way to to stir the water fast then put the eggs in the pan make sure you put the eggs in the direction you stirred the water in so the whites wraps itself around the yolk to get poached eggs simple :)

  • Add white vinegar to the water and make sure you don't add salt cause salt will make them fall apart. Swirl the water and gently drop the eggs into the centre, cook for two minutes.

  • Not very good advice~ the better way is to add a bit of vinegar to the water. It keeps the white from spreading in the water. A perfect slipper! Only cook for 2-3 minutes.

  • You can also try stirring the water rather quickly before you add the egg. The whirling motion makes the egg wrap around itself.
