After Mojo knew Shatterstar will be the one to kill him in the future, the tv-ratings magnate decided to kill him first. Mojo almost succeeded! Rictor, as Star's bestfriend dreaded that day when he came back to the team just to see his pal die. Longshot, with Cable & Siryn transferred Shatty's essence into the comatose young mutant Benjamin Russel! so basically, Shatterstar is both Gaveedra and Benjamin Russel

Benjamin "RusseLL" was a totally separate physical body than Shatterstar before all of this. They only share a body now, so it's not really as simple as saying Shatterstar IS Benjamin Russell. The only way that can be possible is if the time travel made this a paradox...but even still that hasn't been revealed (nor does that make sense). So it's hard to say.

Nice. I still have the 1st 25 issues of XForce stashed somewhere. It was a worthy storyline, but I guess because the writers changed, so did the plot. I was always curious to find out what happened after issue 25.

Oh jeez, tons. This went all the way up to issue 113 with this team. Cable eventually left, as did Rictor and Shatterstar. Sam turned into an X-Men, but the others remained constants on the team till its end.

Oh I'm a total fanatic of X-Force; you're not the only one! :D They did release a new X-Force, but the only original in it is Warpath. Shatterstar is my favourite too. He's my favourite comic book character ever.

Great clip man, OG X-Force got me into the whole comicgeek world. I like the music choice and the pic selection, I'm see a strong vibe from Shatterstar and Rictor more now than ever. I wish you got more Warpath and Siryn in it tho'. I also wish Bedlam and Risque got some spotlight.

Well I am a huge fan of the classic X-Force, so I would prefer if Marvel didn't relaunch the name with different characters. That kind of sucks, if you ask me. As for the team itself I'm not a fan of Wolverine or Wolfsbane so I don't have a reason to buy it as of yet.
