They didn't score very much points and the hadn't not very good cars

Understand me : I was fan of minardi, but the were always in the back of the field.

Giancarlo Minardi and Paul Stoddart were very relaxed guys, but the team was not very good. Also Minardi had several worldchampions in the team before the became worldchampions.

And if I say that they were the weakest team I think many people and fans would agree with me(A)

Also Minardi isn't the weakest team since 1980, There's about a dozen or more teams who were worse. Minardi showed them up and survived.

It was at Interlagos if I remember correctly. I think he had a heavy crash during that weekend coming on to the finishing straight. Went on to drive in the wrc for Subaru. An unusual step to take in motorsport. From Formula 1 to rally. Being Irish, I was a Jordan fan. But liked Minardi too.

Paul Stoddart owns the rights to the Minardi name outside Europe, although there is a GP2 team I think which has the Minardi name on it - and has the involvement of Giancarlo Minardi himself. Confused? I am!

ERm one of the weakest?..... look at how many teams DIDNT score points, or regularly didnt qualify for races.... Pacific GP comes to mind from 1994 to 1995. many teams from the 80s... check your facts

Pretty good, my second favourite team!! Although I can not believe that you think they were weaker than Coloni, EuroBrun, Onyx, AGS and/or Larousse. Also, I keep thinking that the '1988' Minardi picture is actually the 1991, also 1989 seems funny. But overall good job, thanks for the memories (Minardi on the front row in 1989 was awesome).

MARTINI FOREVER!! 8 years in Minardi, Alonso only 1. Martini is much better, especially with ice. James Bond prefers Martini better than Alonso.

Thanks for posting. The Minardi of 91 and 92 was, I believe, one of the prettiest paint schemes to ever adorn a F1 car. Minardi was, is and always will be my favorite.

To be fair, they did well to survive for over 20 years, when the likes of Brabham, Lotus, Arrows and Prost all went under!
