Maxis IS making a big announcement on March 6th regarding a possibly new game in the mist. SimCity was made using the current Maxis and The Sims crew, who are currently both working on this project. Though this could be just a facebook game (SimCity Social, google it), but this may be the real deal, or this could be some whole other game. Either way, we'll have to wait until March 6th to find out.

There is a SimCity 5 called SimCIty socities. No matter how much they screwed things up, it's an unpleasent fact that Socities is the fifth version. But I do want to see a version 6.
