1) thats not a chainsaw dumbass. its a hedge trimmer.

2) It doesnt show him cuttin the tree guy up. it only shows the limbs falling.

3) Hedgetrimmers are activated by pressing a trigger. So clearly, the father wasn't pressing the trigger.
