This is a great chick flick. I loved it, if i should say something negative about the movie, then there was too much padding when they both came to earth. This movie is about there love, so i didn't really care about there childhood, his music career or which other guy she married or liked. They should have spent more time together on earth in my book. But, this was a very enjoyable movie. I understand why people like it.

Maideinheaven .. thank you very much .. indeed .. by accident in 1988 I saw this movie and not remember anything, and I saw a channel of my country that's 01:00 am and could not read very well the Spanish subtitles, the movie could not recall the names of cast, just remember the name of Elmo and being in the office remembered the Barnett, quickly went to Google and here I am, at that time would just turned 12, now I have 33. Greetings from the Dominican Republic.

ebay for vhs as i got mine from there. as for dvd they have not done dvd yet i wish they would hurry up .

There is no DVD out yet and to be honest they have no plans 'yet' to remake this. There was a DVD screener made though, made for acadamy award purposes and given to a few writers. Thats where this post came from.

I love this movie too , but a better movie is What Dreams May Come with Robin Williams. It's along the same lines, only more recent and better. :)
