Also if you look at the inhabitants of the Falklands today they are British and want to remain under British rule so it would be wrong of Argentina to try and claim this land now or as they did in 1980.

The Facts- Falklands was British before there was even such a place as Argentina. A Fascist dictator tried to prop up his crumbling government by invading what he thought was a soft target. Britain dominated this army of conscripted boys with a classical expeditionary campaign. The defeat brought about the fall of a viscious dictator, and opened the door for democracy, and 3 decades of improved conditions for Argies. Argentinas miltary is old and broken.

Half of the Argentine air force's aircraft were grounded and pilots were losing their licenses due to lack of practice on aircraft.They can not afford the fuel.

We have new ships, new subs, remember Argentina has never replaced any losses from 1982, never updated any of its armed forces it only has what we left it with nearly 30 years ago.Its main attack aircraft is the 50+ year old Skyhawks we left them with. Our Chief of Defence staff said "Argentina would be very ill advised indeed to try another invasion"

@pfvb88 The islands were uninhabited before Europeans discovered it and it was the French and British that were the first to claim it as sovereign land so its questionable as to whether it was an invasion when retaking the islands. Also if you look at the inhabitants of the Falklands today they are British and want to remain under British rule so it would be wrong of Argentina to try and claim this land now or as they did in 1980.
