I didn't see any grease being put in the middle of the moveable plate's plain bearings, that ride on the collar. There are seals too keep this grease in that space and away from the belt but it's important that there be some grease in there to let the sheave smoothly slide back and forth. It's a brand new sheave and won't have any grease in there as supplied.
