yes, it does save the video files in the quicktime .mov format

Certainly plenty of camera. Lots of compression for online viewing unfortunately, but it is a high traffic site and fairly responsive in terms of how quickly they update. Does the V1253 save in quicktime video format? I'm about set on using a Flip video camera for video and my Kodak for snaps or in-car video just because it is easier to edit.
