  • Hey there, I tried doing this with my loose glitters and it never dried all the way. It was too runny. So I tried adding more alcohol and it ended up being to dried out and "chunky." I wonder what I did wrong? :( Wish I could achieve this technique!!!!!

  • @trixxikrissi

    Try adding more glitter.

and u can check out my glitter pressing tutorial

  • hey i really loved ur video so much im just wondering if you can do it with normal eyeshadow color with out glitter tnx a lot

  • Wow, that is really good. Does the glycerin cause the glitter to go bad if it is not used up fast?

  • @restorevideos Umm for regular pigments you only need rubbing alcohol :)

  • @nadiazmami yeah

  • Could you do a tutorial on how exactly you did your makeup for this? It looks gawjuss! (:

  • Yeah :) If I remember what I used :P

  • im guessing this will work with shimmer/glitter eyeshadow pigments as well?

  • Yes it will, but if you want to press regular eyeshadow like mac pigments you should use rubbing alchohol instead of glycerin and water because the glycerin has tendencies to spoil :)

  • quick question :P

what is the exact amount of product of the bag you have? .. i was looking thro the website to get some glitter but they dont have examples of the amounts for each pack

  • Hello :)

I got the sample sizes. I believe they are 1 teaspoon for each sample. Hope that helps!

  • I am def. trying this out. Have you tried using the mac glitters with this method? I am assuming it would work the same though... But anyway, great video, so thanks for this doll!

  • Nevermind about the MAC thing :D I pressed send before I heard that bit!

  • Ooo, this is such a good idea! Thanks for the tutorial :D

  • luv this!!!! really! watch it 10 tyms a day!(not joking! seriously!!)

  • hey you are amazing! :)

  • hey you are like my friend! :D

  • Does that mean you know someone like me? Or you know me? Haha ! :) :) :)

    & thanks :D

  • haha! sorry if you cant understand me, i speak spanish haha, well, you are like my friend from UK, btw, you're so creative and i like it! i love art :3

  • yessssss someone amazing like youu :D :)

  • What does the alchohol do?

  • It helps the glitter stick together. If you've ever pressed regular pigments you use alcohol to help bind the pigment together. It's just like if you get sugar wet it will dry in a lump. Alcohol evaporates faster than water so it is quicker.

Hope that isn't too confusing :)

  • Did you make your bracelets?

If You did,can you make a tutorial for them or send me the link of the video if there is one please ? ;)

    Your awsomme x

  • I made some of them :)

I'll message you because I can't put links in comments

  • yeah sure ! do you have any requests, like hair accessories or crafts?

  • Wow! Thanks for the tutorial! I now made my own glitter eyeshadows with the glitter I rarely used cuz I could just not keep on my eyes!

  • yeah! hope that helps. even with this method you still should use a sticky base.

    :)
