Nope, just noticed that he taking his foot of his pegs when he didn't need too, making very wide turn arounds. I can turn mine around inside my own lane without without crossing the center line or putting my foot down. I know he was just showing off. I've been riding over 40yrs and benefitted from a intermediate riders course later in my years. Your dad rides like he is still a kid.

@benitezdb Don't remember. But it was a good deal because it had been laid down and didn't run quite right. He's still tinkering with it. It looks totally different.

I think its stupid how people still consider the sportster to be a chicks bike. IO see women on full dressed Harleys . So they must all be chicks bikes.Plus, that dont look sound or move like a womens bike..Do research>Sporsters r the bike of choice.People shouldnt talk down on any Harley davidson

@rail155 I remember when the 750 Honda came out and everyone thought , "What a monster, I wonder if it will beat a sportster?". And back in the day the sportster was winning all those races so I guess these idiots that call it a chicks bike are probably accountants and Lawyers that go out and buy themselves expensive Ultra Glides. I'm a disabled Vet and on a fixed income and cant afford the payments on one of the big baggers so I drive a 1200 and it suits me fine, and I'm no chick.

I was wondering why this bike sounds almost identical to the '05 883L I'm picking up in a couple days. It has the same style pipes on it as this one. Sounds awesome whatever they are. Mine aren't marked. Nice clip.

@Vaish57 I've never rode on long trips so I have no first hand experience. But based on what I've heard it can be done, but a bigger bike would provide more comfort for a long ride.

@Vaish57 I forgot to add that it's not too weak at all. It will pull 2 heavy people no problem. But a bigger bike gives you more room and also absorbs the vibrations better.
