Looked like a lot of nerve damage on top of a badly broken/healed over pelvis/hips. If it's back was broken I don't think it'd be walking around for that long. True survivor, but it must suffered horribly...
We still see this deer and it seems to be fine. She still limps, but fucntions like the other deer. i would have shot her except neighbors are too close and I don't want to take a chance. I don't have a thousand yard shot.;)
@EVAPETOLICCHIO1 if you read the date and lived in Michigan, you'd know hunting season is closed. This deer was one of a herd of suburban deer that move from around a neighborhood and have to cross streets. They don't know cars can hurt them...until it's too late.
My brother hit a deer a few years ago on our street (in a chevy s10 pickup) and it ran off...for months we saw one like this with a messed up leg. always felt bad for it and wondered if it was the same one.
Ok I have deer hunted for 4 years now, just got a 10 point this season and not many things about seeing deer make me feel for them but for christ sake this poor animal......
wolf or coyote will get it in the winter .I would call the local DNR and have them come out and put it down.Looks like a broken hip

Instead of filming you should have done the humane thing and got out a rifle.

This is extremely tragic. With all the hunting going on, she was probably scared and darted into the street.
search videos of "deer arrow through nose, eye" - choose one

Look uh . . I admire its survival instinct and fortitude but . . . someone really should just euthanize the poor thing . . . .

Soon afterwords a coyote had a nice meal, and knowing them, they didn't wait on the deer to die. Thats why I hunt coyotes!!!

I watched a pair dog this deer for about a week last winter, but I did see it again in May. That was my last sighting.
I hunt coyotes every chance I get. Trap them too!
