this trailer doesnt give the super hero feel to it,in the original trailer they make it feel like youre a little kid going to watch your favorite comic book heroes,but this trailer only show like these are supernatural beings secret from the world and more drama.the US version is better.

Zack Snyder said that Hollis's death was cut which disappointed him. But he said it will be in a director's cut.

Watchmen probably isn't as popular in japan so they had to flesh out the story so more so ppl would know what it's about. (In the american trailer you don't know at all what's going on unless you read the comics). True that a few of the scenes seemed strange to pick though.

Haha, that's mostly the reason I set this up in the first place, since they have virtually nothing to do with each other-- particularly the "Doomsday Clock" sequence turning into a generic statement about "something going on in the world". Other than making it easier to understand, I have no idea why they decided to change it in the Japanese version like that.
