Turbos have better boost at higher RPM's, yet the supercharger is instant throttle response, creating a massive amount of torque and horsepower. Turbos create more torque at high RPM's along with Horsepower. Not saying that your wrong, but engines can be built to obtain a massive amount of horsepower.

@rustynichols22 Ya I see what you're saying but overall superchargers are proven, sort of the reason Formula 1 and Nascar use superchargers 9 out of 10 times. As for horsepower that matters in a race but not as much torque, you can have A LOT of horsepower but if you don't have a proper displacement with torque you can get beaten easily. A good quote to go by in racing is "Horsepower sells cars, torque wins races."
