For safety's sake: Switch it to manual and use the toggle switch to check the insp and exp pressures before connecting to the patient. To be effective, use a longer Insp time and shorter exp time to generate higher exp flow rates, like a cough. Increase humidity delivered to the patient if secretions are thick.
