Even indie labels are still record labels, and yes, they take their cut as well. So many people pirate in the first place that Youtube only further buries them. VEVO is a great, GREAT thing, because most people watching this wouldn't buy the song in the first place. Instead of whining because you are so unfortunate and have to sit through a 30 second commercial, thank VEVO for helping Rogue wave.
