  • "I guess he couldn't take it." Lol. and then when sosa called him a nutcase, "Well id say that too if i got STOMPED." Suck it tard fans.

  • @UKJohnWa11 How does it feel being a fan of a team who has a coach that has been to the final 4 two times and is 0-0 with both final fours seasons being taken back by the NCAA and an AD that was the the AD at SMU in 1986 when they got the death penalty in football?

  • @BapticostalFreak pretty damn awesome really. ill take a 35-3 season any god damn day. So you all can get your 20 win seasons "the right way" while we laugh our asses off when were winning like crazy.

  • @UKJohnWa11 of course you will take a 35-3 season when you have NCAA violaters in coach and AD. Winning like crazy and cheating the whole way, thats the only way John Vincent Calipari (2008 Memphis and 1996 UMass both seen as 0-0 season by the NCAA) and Mitch Barnhart (AD at SMU in 1986 result in death penalty). Im gonna love to keep watching my Vandy and UL teams keep playing while you UK team is on the death penalty. Also I will pray that you won't keep saying GD to me. I don't like the word.

  • Cousins shouldve knocked the dirty bird out

  • @atrocks22 i wish he would have so he could have been arrested for assault and the NCAA suspend him for the remainder of the year.

Sincerly, a Commodore fan since 1981.

  • @BapticostalFreak probably wouldn't have made a difference for the dores, still wouldve lost.

  • @atrocks22 don't worry he will knock someone out soon and be in jail soon enough.

  • @BapticostalFreak who cares. He's not at Kentucky anymore

  • @atrocks22 He can't be, he was playing ball and not enrolled in classes at UK. So are you gonna buy his book "How to play college ball and not be enrolled in classes"? I love hearing the "UK fan" whine while us Vandy fans keep graduating players (even early like A.J. Oligivy) and having no controversial coaches or players on the team. Its gonna be a fun thing when the UK2K shirts are gonna have to be reissued because of the ineligible players like Cousins at UK and the 09-10 season is taken back

  • @BapticostalFreak he wasn't eligible? Clearly you know something nobody else does. Good luck on your witch hunt that will only fail, Pete Thamel. UK fans aren't whining Theyre laughing at Vandy and the frosted one (Ogilvy)

  • @atrocks22 I didn't say Cousins wasn't eligible I said he dropped out of classes while playing ball. Learn to read and do your history & you will see John Calipari has been to the final 4 twice and both were taken back by the NCAA for playing ineligible players.Mitch Barnhart was the AD at SMU when they got the death penalty in 1986. Ogilvy went to college in Australia for 1 year then Vandy for 3 & graduated. If he wanted to he could have been 1 and done at Vandy but he wanted to get his degree

  • @BapticostalFreak you did say he was ineligible. I know this because you said "Its gonna be a fun thing when the UK2K shirts are gonna have to be reissued because of the ineligible players like Cousins. " Learn to read and do your history. You dont even know what you're trying to say.

  • @atrocks22 when you drop out of college classes, according to NCAA rules, then you are no longer eligible to play NCAA sports. Yes I said he was ineligible because he was and it will all turn out to be that Mitch Barnhart was covering it up just like he did at SMU in the 1980's and we all know how that turned out for the SMU football team in 1986.

  • @BapticostalFreak He didn't drop out of classes. Even if he did, do you really think you'd be the only one saying this?

  • guys, lets face it. the knee to the head was not intentional like we're making it out to be. Everyone was just going for the ball. The elbow to the head thrown by cousins was. He really should have been tossed.

  • @cheetncat exactly

  • all the elbows n fighting aside the uk freshman got the better of

uoflL n their fans just dont want to admit it

  • @MrJrn1990 did you see #3 for UL that game (Peyton Siva) when he was guarding John Wall? JW couldn't do anything during that time.

  • WEAK SAUCE...... Cry more booo hoooo....

  • @steffavel83 Are you the hot girl? If so then maybe you weren't hot enough foe the person who farted! lol

  • OK look at it this way. Swopshire put a knee to Demarcus Cousins' face. Demarcus Cousins hit Swopshire on the head with his fore arm. (I don't really know if either one was intentional.) But I do agree when someone said that issue didn't lose louisville the game, the fact that they lost was because they couldn't make one field goal within the first fifteen minutes of the game. Don't get me wrong, I like louisville. but lets face the facts this time.

  • the knee was in the face and yes this is taught to players to be done, there are many things tought to players at all levels and places to make it look unintintional and draw the fouls. There is no point in arguing about who did what, the game is over and in the past. It was a hard fought game on both sides and no reason to go he did this and he did that cuz it can go on forever. As said before it goes both ways.

  • @LadyKat364 good luck with telling the UK fans to let a lose be in the past. They are all still crying about the time Duke beat them in 1993.

  • ok that was a tussle 4 the ball, been there myself, cousins elbow came after the whistle and was flagrent....he also gave Swop a jab to the side b4 the knee flew, i think he was just trying to cover up the ball, trust me heads are hard and im not going to risk hurting my knee using it intentionally on someones head, especially back when i played ball, ur knees are to valueable......cmon, get real

  • Cousins jumped on top of Swop, if anything he initiated the contact.....u could just as easy say he tried to take his knee out with a headbutt, this aint WWE.....LMAO and then used his MMA type forearm to the face, this is throwing darts in the dark trying to justify this guys actions and its childish, there was alot of jawing going on the whole game and leading up to the game, 2 claim that UL tried to start a fight is wrong, cuz if u remember UK started it by stompin on the logo in freedom hall

  • @bndaville he did not jump on Swop, they were wrestling for the ball and pulled/rolled over. Been there done that myself

  • Cousins shoved Buckles later and had Buckles been the kind of dirty player/punk that cousins is that would have escalated into a fight and it should have been his second tech, which is an automatic ejection and it wasnt called....Buckles held his hands straight up in the air, the knee dosent look in intentional at all, the jab to swops side right b4 that looks more intentional then the knee anyway, in a scramble 4 the ball, elbows fly and sometimes contact is made

  • @CEW502......ok elbow/forearm 2 face, head to the floor.....whatever, does it really matter?????

  • plus shortly after Cousins pushes Buckles and nothing was called....UK won ....NO EXCUSES here, only people i hear making excuses is UK fans trying to make excuses for their punks and justify slamming a guys face into the ground with his forearm....

  • Guys face into the ground? He was laying on his back. How is his face being slammed into the ground?

  • @CEW502 Are you trying to argue the intensity at which he threw his forearm? Really? Does it even matter? It was obviously intentional, and that is what counts.

  • Sure Cousins' forearm to Swopshire's face was intentional but so was Swopshire's knee to Cousins' face. Just because UL lost card fans want to make a huge issue over it. Just go any UL fan's site and that's all they're talking about.

  • @CEW502 I knew that UL was gonna lose that game just like they will in the 2010-2011 season and maybe the 2011-2012 season. UL has never beaten UK in 3 straight years and UL won in the 07-08 and 08-09 season.

  • I here alot of UL people makin excuses

  • this whole video is a UK fan making an excuse. It even cuts off before you can see the whole play of cousins hitting him in the face! It doesn't make sense to me why UK fans are trying to justify such a foul. I'm not making excuses, they are.

  • the fact that us uk fans MADE this video is because it was ALL about cousins elbow, what we uk fans didnt understand is why they didnt show cousins getting kneed in the FACE, so therfor everyone should see the WHOLE ordeal

  • @gocardsfan1 It's justified because he took a knee to the head FIRST!

  • UK fans wanna keep talkin bout UL players gettin arrested but John Wall was arrested 4 breaking and entering and if u recall back when Cal was at Umass, he pissed off Temple's John Cheaney, Cheaney was an old ass man and was ready to kick Cal's ass, it takes alot to piss an old man off enough to say..."i'll kill u" and if u look b4 the knee, cousins punches swop in the side, the knee was an accident, elbow intentional cousins, bledsoe, wall are all a bunch of punks who couldnt play w/out talkin

  • No one claims all r angels, goes both ways and court records from Louisville and home towns can be pulled. Swopeshire and Cousins both being agressive fighting for position, hooking each other. As a former bb player the knee looked intentional, no need to pull it up that far. Cousins emotions got the best of him at that moment due to the knee to the head. He tried backing away with arms up but someone had to go after him, hmm, if you eject one, eject all 3which probably should have been done.

  • As far as Bledsoe in first 20 sewconds of game, UL pushed him 7-10 ft into another UL player and a foul was called on Bledsoe. If happened to me, I would get mad too

  • PLEEAASSSE SUB ME

  • Blah Blah Blah quit bitching about the "elbow" and how UK players are thugs. For Christ sakes take the loss, I sure didn't hear this much bitching when you all lost to UNLV, Char. or W. Carolina. The elbow didn't lose the game for you. Plain and simple, moan and groan about how he should have been ejected, but he wasn't and your post players couldn't guard him. This is pathetic to see all these people bitch about one scuffle that literally had no effect on the game except the free throws.

  • Swopshire's knee to Cousin's head was unintentional. Cousin's elbow to Swopshire was CLEARLY flagrant. Thats an ejectable offense. In my opinon the refs got this one wrong. The technicals given to Delk and Swopshire after this little event? Correct and appropriate.

  • Clearly there was no need for a knee. The knee was intensional. It was the game plan to get in the heads of the kentucky players. Face that it didnt work and ya still lost ! The refs did ok in this one by giving all involved a technical. If you eject one player your going to have to eject the others. Only fair! Refs did what they could to keep the players in the game. Including the U of L ones. I got two words for ya John WALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL !!!!

  • I'm no inbread and my husbands cousin played for Rupp. If you want to count, you need to count from day 1

  • No, all sports fans know the truth that UK is full of talent. Go check it out if you can read it. There is going to be rough play no matter who is playing and it was on both sides Saturday, it was not all one sided. I still have it recorded and I can upload all of the rough housing

  • Comment removed

  • because I have played and rolled and fought for the ball like they did, in the heat of the moment it is hard to control emotions and yes they both should have been ejected

  • HMMMM... titles in the 50s, 60s, 70s and90's, but I wasn't talking bout that. UK has more wins over UL than UL has over UK

  • Plenty of UL fans say the same thing, and it's people like you that make me not want to pull for UL when they don't play Ky

  • I have no reason to be jealous and I never have been nor will I ever be

  • My brother that went to UL and was a trainer for the bb team, knows one of the refs and one tech was for the punch thrown

  • Not a Cal fan but shouldn't even start with attacking coaches, cuz we can go deep on Pitino and I know quite a bit that many don't. The team is not filled with thugs and punks. hmmmm Jealousy always seems to brings those words out.

  • I don't have to spin nothing cuz you only know how to count to 9.

  • There are obnoxious fans on both sides of the fence. As far as moral standards, there are plenty of UL fans that need better moral standards also, as well as being delusional. It goes both ways. It is not right to say Ky fans just because a few may upset you. I know many many UL fans that are the same way, as well as supporters of other universities.

  • The knee looked just as intentional as the elbow. Having played competitive organized basketball, the way they were on the floor, that knee did not have to jerked up the way it was. It looked as if it was on purpose.

  • Comment removed

  • there was a punc thrown. You must have had your blinders on when that arm when flying at Cousins. Even the UL fans watching with us saw that

  • its called an elbow retard

  • more like "elbow to face" at the end. hahaha

  • it was an accident

  • fail.

  • his knee hit his head.....its not a "knee to the head"

  • bottom line uk will always be the better school and basketball program!!!!!

tardfan, go back to your little rock you crawled out from

  • Swopshire's knee was as high as his shoulder.

Looks like Cousins contact was just as incidental as Swopshire's knee.

  • fuckin idiot

  • Spoken like a true Cards fan. They need more athletes and less 'educated' keyboard warriors.

  • incidental contact. cousins threw a fit because he's a punk and cant handle it. should have gotten ejected. GO CARDS

  • uk is simply the best program in basketball right now. most wins, best recruiting class, classiest coach. cousins is a punk but i'm happy to finally see somebody on the team who will give up a fight

  • most wins: okay thats true

best recruiting class: not so great when they are all one and done players. this team will look very different next year with a new line of freshman as starters. Not a great way to maintain a program imo.

classiest coach: isn't this the coach that was trying to justify Cousins's forearm/elbow to Swopshire? And doesn't Pitino hate him because of bribing officials earlier in their careers? And doesn't this coach have two vacated final fours? Yeah, really classy.

  • Cousins gave up a fight? is that where his retaliation came in? I'm pretty sure that is making a fight, not giving one up.

  • @gocardsfan1 YOU LOST GET OVER IT.

  • I don't care about the loss, in fact I'm happy that my team never backed down and made it close. I just don't like it when UK fans are delusional, and that is when I will voice my opinion. I don't do it in a disrespectful way, and I try to make my points understandable and unbiased. It would be nice if others (in general, no one specific) could attempt to do the same.

  • god i love youtube comments.

  • i hate how all the dumb ass UK fans keep saying WE are the ones making up excuses for losing when really they made up excuses for 2 years in a row... ouchh. and yeah yeah they all say how we have lost a few times this year but it is kinda sad how they almost got beat by tht team. uofl aint bad. we both played like shit yesterday. yeah cousins shud have been thrown out but he wasnt. and delk only got pissed when he saw cousins elbowing swopshire in the head.

  • Cousins would kill Artest .....and you're an idiot.

  • You do realize that Patterson is better than almost everyone of the UofL players. He is ready to be in the NBA, but his moral standards and his parents moral standards are that He has to finish college. So your just saying that cause UK beat your team. And im with Wikdclwin4 on the comment "How pathetic..."

  • It's a shame that Calipari won't be recruiting any players that have such moral standards. I would have much more respect for Kentucky if their team was made up of more "Pattersons."

  • @gocardsfan1 look at your player kneeing him in the head jackass

  • I would also have a lot more respect for Kentucky if their fans had better moral standards. For example, calling me a jackass for having an opposing opinion. I gave a compliment to one of your players, and I said that I respect his and his family's morals. Yet you call me a jackass for something that is up for debate. The knee being intentional is not proven (or even suggested), but the blow to the head definitely is.

  • ahhh i see it didnt take long for the LOSERville fans to start downing UK. Typical of U of L fans, trying to find an outlet for their frustration over losing that game. Mr/Ms Louevil555, you are the laughing stock. How pathetic...

  • UL went into the game trying to get Cousins ejected because they had no answer for him. Their tactics started well before the game. UL has always been and will always be a classless bunch of thugs. This time they went to UK looking for a war and much to their surprise...they got one. Cousins was reacting to a knee to the head. If the refs ejected him then they would have had to eject Swopshire and Delk as well.

  • ContinuedSo to all UL fans raise your GANGSTA "L" hand signals to your foreheads and announce to the world that you are nothing but a bunch of losers who follow the coach that was the laughingstock of all sports this summer after his famous Ted Kennedy press conference. Pitino looked up to big Ted cause in Pitino's mind Ted knew how to handle a pregnant blonde.

  • lol@ looking up to ted

    classic

  • Well put about the Cousins remark! U hit the nail on the head there. GO BIG BLUE

  • 15-0 is real sucky. Well see how heated kansas gets when they tangle with texas. but like ku or any schools have room to talk about their players. didnt you have some who fought with their own schools football team, 1 got a DUI? Kids and tempers. Glad that u got to see all the trash talkin and bumpin Sosa did to Cousins before the game even started. Typical haters.

  • if you wanna talkin inbreds, spell it right first...and it's the Louisville fans that are bitchin, thinkin they even had a chance to win this game.

  • Emotion was the factor in this game take it out and its a different game, for example If this was Charlotte vs Louisville, it would've been a 20+ point game. Oh wait...

  • Comment removed

  • fuck cousins, he is a dirty peice of shit. you cant win in Korrupt arena because the refs will always give calls UK's way... cousins should have been kicked out of that game immediatlely. Ray Charles could see that the elbow was intentionally. hopefully NCAA reviews it and suspends the prick.

  • Comment removed

  • Unbiased UNC fan here...the knee looked accidental. The elbow was on purpose and he should have been kicked out.

  • Accidental? He brought his knee up that far to his head, and its accidental? A player isnt going to bring his knees up like that scrambling for a ball unless he had a very bad case if diarea hit him and doubled over in stomach pain into a fetal position.

  • look at the dudes legs (i dont know his name). He was either going to do a split or fall down. He fell and his knee hit Cousins.

Do you really think that the guy decided to do a ninja rollover knee to the face on purpose?

  • Didnt the whistle blow before he ever kneed him in the head?

  • does resisting arrest constitute as being a thug? if so, then im pretty sure UofL has at least two...i dont think the knee was intentional and i think the elbow was but how does Cousins know that the knee was by accident? Show of hands to who has mind reading abilities and would be able to (in that situation) feel the blow to their head and conjure up the thought process that "that nice man just gave me a love tap!" no1. its a heated moment and hia immediate reaction was that it was intentional

  • both was cheap shots but the boys in blue pulled out the win so im happy

  • kyclay58 - what a chunk of shit you are. You disagree about a fucking basketball game and conclude those that disagree with you are "Liberal Democrats"? I, sir, am a lifelong Kentucky fan and I can easily tell from your post that you are a cock-smoking, Rush Limbaugh loving, right-wing fuck.

  • Way to show all of 3 seconds...how about a couple more angles.

  • What other angles do you need to see? The video is perfect. Shows the intentional knee to the head and the face pounding.

  • That is the only angle of the knee that CBS played. It was probably by accident. :)

  • Yeah how ironic. The commentators nearly drove me insane......I think they thought they were the ones out there with striped shirts on.

  • clark kellogg kills me to , im gonna start dialing in the radio and turning the tv down.

I got the whole game on my dvr in HD , The guy kneed cousins in the head, When cousins is on the sidelines he points to were he got hit ,.

  • That's funny, UofL fans calling UK players "thugs." How many UK players have been arrested and/or tazered?

  • Oh I'm a UofL fan and I'll comment on the knee. Swop is not a UFC fighter. He was going fetal position to cover the basketball. He did give Cousins a shot, but not intentional. What you aren't showing, is the deliberate intent from Cousins after this knee with his UFC style forearm/elbow straight to Swopshire's face. NCAA should review this play and Cousins should be suspended for a game or two.

  • @NewMexiCard wah wah wah, you wanna cry a little more little bitch, my god man, you really want me to go on about all the fouls that werent called against ul when sosa deliberately tripped bledsoe because he couldnt guard him, they finally got it right at the end, or how bout the touch fouls against uk, but everytime cousins went in he got hacked because samuels bitch ass couldnt contain him, all in all, uk beat your ass inside we only had to make 2 3s all night and we still won, go to hell

  • @suckygolfer19 you are such a jerk that I'm not surprised that you are a UK fan. It doesn't matter who is wrong or right or who is whining or who got the bad calls, to tell someone who you don't even know to go to hell and calling them a bitch is just uncalled for. What did NewMexiCard do to you? Are you so immature that you react that poorly to such innocent comments?

  • @gocardsfan1 im getting fuckin tired of little bitch card fans talking shit like they are a team full of angels, apparently they are, like all the times your pefect team hard fouled us, and we got nothing, the fact that swopshire kneed cousins in the face first, to be dirty, not to cuddle up with the ball, but to try to get him to retalliate, thats why the refs didnt kick cuz out, and let him continue on with the free throws, your whole team was talking shit and couldnt back it up, stop cryin

  • @gocardsfan1 oh and btw tell ricky p to give karen sypher her scarf back, haha

  • @suckygolfer19 just shut up and stop making yourself look bad. If you want to have an intelligent debate, then say so and I'll come back. But I'm leaving this comments page until then. It's just ridiculous

  • @gocardsfan1 you think i need an intelligent debate? heres your intelligent debate, your players came in our house looking for a fight, cousins gave them the shot, and they backed out like little pussies, your team is like that kid that thinks hes a bully, picks on little people then gets someone bigger or his size, then runs off like a dog with his tail tucked, the fact that all your louisville fans call uk thug, is ironic, dont two players from ul have records from resisting arrest, dont come

  • @gocardsfan1 to our house talk shit and not back it up, and expect us uk fans not to fire back, yeah we got the win, and right now im sippin on some jack and coke, enjoying every word im typing, you know why, because this time last year, i had to hear your fans talk shit for a buzzer beater over a very mediocre uk team, its ok, when we win the title you can say, hey we only lost to them by 9, and one more thing, enjoy your moral victory, for whatever your using it for haha GO BIG BLUE

  • Your argument is not making sense. Are you saying that the UofL players should not have come in trying to start a fight, or that they should not have backed out like "pussies" when cousins "gave them the shot" (and I thought you were making the case earlier that Swopshire started it all, but thats just another thing not making sense)? Well I'll respond to both potential arguments.

  • First of all, I would like to know what your proof is that UofL was the team coming in looking for a fight, besides word of mouth from *UK* fans. Why do you assume that UK was not involved in that trash talking from the start, and that they did not want to try to instigate anything as well? The teams are rivals, to assume that one team hates the other, but the other is just perfectly content is unrealistic.

  • Secondly (and I'm not proud of this), UofL never backed out when Cousins threw the elbow. Didn't Delk push someone right after that? And wasn't it UofL who got two technical fouls on that play? The difference between UK and UofL in that play is that everything UK did was intentionally to hurt a UofL player. Delk pushing at the end was the reaction from the huge blow that Cousins made, and it was nothing compared to the magnitude of Cousins's hit. therefore the

  • two technicals on UofL were deserved, but Cousins should have been kicked out of the game. I am not the first to say this, nor will I be the last.

  • @gocardsfan1 hmm, well as a first hand witness at the game, i saw ul huddle as a team around pitino, two uk players went out to shake hands, after the huddle, and they walked away from the scorers table ole ricky, the fact that reginald delk pushed bledsoe into whoever that was throwing the pick at the beginning, come on now, and now your fellow card fans saying cal said he would kick delks ass after that play, yall are rediculous, take the loss like men, you played well, your team was looking

  • @gocardsfan1 for a damn fight, so they decided to take it to their own hands to get one, pushing bledsoe, then kneeing cousins in the face, cousins threw a elbow, it was dirty yes, but the refs saw the knee and thats why he wasnt ejected, i understand he shouldve took the high road and didnt, but we played physical, and punched ul in the mouth with our inside game. the fact that the gameplan, coming from a ul site, was to get into cousins head to get him out early so yall could stop us, didnt

  • @gocardsfan1 work, he had 18 pts and 18 rbs, wall was horrible and still had 17 pts, we hit 2 threes, still won, we had by far our worst game, and still won comfortably, heres the thing, last year was uls best team they have and will have in a while, and they needed a buzzer beater by edgar sosa to win, face the fact that you will never be on uks level, and will never win a title, last year was uls year, and they blew it, ricky p will never be what he was at uk, and i hope he regrets it for the

  • @gocardsfan1 rest of his life, he has been dethroned in the state of kentucky, and he would be better off retiring. sorry, but its the true facts, i hate to be blount, but thats true, got an argument for that one?

  • Yes I do, actually. I have been hearing this same stuff every year for the past several years about how UofL is nothing and they are having a down year and all, but then we always show up come March. I agree that this team is not as talented as last year's team, but Pitino is one of the most successful coaches in the NCAA tourney, and our recruiting class for 2011 and especially 2012 is rock solid. To hear that we are gone just makes me happy because I can't wait till we prove you wrong.

  • Also, the fact that Pitino now has his best buddy and an assistant coach that he respects at his side is being a huge rejuvenation for him. He has already said that he looks forward to several more years working with that guy (it's late and I've forgotten his name), and someone to challenge his coaching decisions is great for the program. So no, I dont think that Pitino has been "dethroned" in the state of Kentucky.

  • and now I am going to sleep. I'll try to reply tomorrow or something if you say something else.

  • @gocardsfan1 oh well i guess you havent watched recruiting very much lately, we lead for the top players in the 2010 class, we lead for teague, miller, and a few others in 2011, and i think we are pretty solid for 2012, so you wont be proving uk wrong, i guarantee that, uk will be back on the top of the college basketball world for years to come, i hate to say it, but when you heard announcers saying cal to uk was the perfect storm, haha, they were right, enjoy watching us cut the nets down in

  • @gocardsfan1 april, bc i sure will enjoy winning title #8, and you can say all that bullshit like, well enjoy it while you have it and all that forfeiting bullshit, but it wont happen at uk, we have the best compliance director in the nation bud, so get used to uk stealing the headlines, because the only you get headlines is when ricky p wants to get his dick wet from his as coaches wife, and your players resisting arrest, haha.

  • I was with about 10 kentucky fans (my family) during this game, and this is the first time I've seen anything about any "Knee to the face". Cousins elbowed swop in the face. Simple. No one else besides kentucky fans saw this alleged "dirty move that should have him ejected". Stop defending Cousins by making up things and get over the fact that you have a thug on your team.

  • @10shelnr You undoubtedly are blind. No one is making up anything. Look at the video, pause it and go real, real, slow, and have your eyes open this time and you can plainly see the knee to the face. If you can't see it then you are blind, stupid, or just do not want to see it. I bet you are a Liberal Democrat.

  • I see it, and of course it HAS to be a knee to the face. His knee comes up and stays up in the same position. To me, that shows that it's not intentional and did no harm. Cousins felt something on his head, and "got him back" by elbowing Swops face. Should've been ejected. It's that simple.

I knew nothing about this until I got on message boards and saw this video. Hate to break it to ya, but Cousins is just a thug.

  • Signed Terrance "Dont taze me bro" Jennings, Jerry "a cop cant tell me what to do" Smith.

  • rough game, but the Cats came prepared and the final score showed that...

  • @joshuazero29 i dont understand...uofl didnt come prepared? it seemed to me that if it were a nuetral court, uofl would have come away with that victory. but its all "what ifs" now, and uk won, so congrats to them. I just think that both teams came prepared to play, i mean its a rivalry game! who doesnt come ready to play a rival?

  • in no place in my comment did i state that louisville didn't come prepared, you should read it again.

now for a further explanation, Coach Cal knew this game would be rough and prepared them for that in practice. the overall theme of the "rough practice" allowed the Cats to carry that "roughness" into the rough game. upon further inspection of the game (that is if a replay is needed) you will find that by their rough retaliations through the game in its entirety...

    GO CATS!!!

  • The elbow from cousins wasnt intentiontional. He was just trying to yank out the ball.

I dont think that the knee was intentional either.

  • You wont hear UL fans talk about the knee..if you go to their message boards theres not a single word about it...juts how big a thug cousins is because he put a bow to swops face. Typical card leaving out the facts just to make their argument look correct.

  • no one saw the knee...its not just UofL fans, its everybody, except for the few who have seen this video. And i dont even think the knee was intentional (up for debate), but that elbow definitely was

  • You know why you dont see the knee? Because ESPN and all those other sites neglect that part and only emphasis on Cousins. The knee is kinda shielded by a player standing there, but it happened. Both were wrong. Both got technicals.

  • Remember how the entire nation viewed Memphis when Cal was there? They now look at UK that way. Congrats...

  • I never saw that knee, but I am glad that I saw it. It explains the elbow. He should not have done it, but at least we know why now.

  • Not sure if the knee was intentional or not, but that is what precipitated Cousins response. It was frustrating for both teams, but probably good the refs got things under control real early. Overall, I don't think it was a great officiated game, but they made questional calls on both sides.
