my 18 inch works like a charm..longer shots, and more accuracy than i expected..the steel spearhead darts have the most accuracy but they will warp over time if you have to much power behind the dart..also, about the dont aim at people..thats with firearms..this cant go off unless it has a human primer (wind) kinda hard to accidentally shoot a blowgun..

when i shoot my blowdart gun i keep both eyes open but i have to look a little high and to the right... i believe it is different for every1... not sure though.

so its a .50 caliber. its pretty accurate for being home made.

yeah, get a bigger blowgun. 18 inch blowguns are to weak and innacurate. if i were you id go with a 36inch, that what i have and it is accurate and powerful without being too bulky like the big 48 inch ones.

@theUnholySquire I have an 18 inch blow gun and I can hit with dead aim at 20 to 30 feet, but I think I'll get a larger blow gun. There so much fun :)

my advice is to get an extention and put another 2 foot on it. twice the power

three times the accuracy,

add a magnet at the mouth piece and the metal dart will stay put while aiming down.

@darthshadowxxx when you are looking with both eyes open at the target you see the blowgun barrel on either side of it put the center of the open space on the target :)

@darthshadowxxx my 1st aiming tip is to get a longer blowgun and sell the toy, the 2nd is, when you point it out in front of you, keep both eyes open and focus on what you're aiming at, you'll see the blowgun and kind of a "ghost image" of the blowgun from the perspective of your non dominant eye. the trick is to center your target between the two. thats pretty much it, hold it steady, shoot it a ton so you get good at judging how high you have to hold it. thats it! but a 4 foot gun would help

@darthshadowxxx wut u want tod do is dont close either of ur eyes...u basiccly look at ur target and then u should see 2 blowgun points..put where u want to aim right between the two and blow
