Stupove. I'm my opinion your quite wrong in two ways loads of good tunes came out after 1993 I could spend hours naming many... Also jungle / drum n bass is better than hardcore in my opinion buy hey were all entitled to are own as for 88 yeah can't knock a bit of the old classic house but doesn't come close to hardcore or jungle or even techno for me
@GavBS30 your obviously younger than us real ravers, if u knew what u were talkin about you'd know that the early 90's produced some of the heaviest hardcore tunes ever made, as for jungle and drum and bass it's nothin but a load of shite with a bunch of moody little gangsta wannabe dickheads jumpin around to gun sounds thinkin there bad bwoys..............u can keep ur drum and bass mate i wat at the REAL RAVE SCENE where some of the heaviest hardcore music came from....88-93 REAL RAVERS.....

@Gav Exactly it's Early day Hardcore 100% if you know enough you clearly here the fast drum beats its classic hardcore. This is also the sound that Happy hardcore used it was upbeat and slightly dancey; in sound id describe as a mix of hardcore and upbeat dancey techno. At Least hardcore diverted to the way of Jungle which did some justice for it; but yeah shame it had to disappear there will never be a sound like true Hardcore again.

Damn, this reminds me of when i was lying in the sun in jamaica catching a nice tan - blazing out my JamDown tuneeesss :D ! Canntt waiiittt tooo goo baccck !
All about the early hardcore some idiots asking why this labled as hardcore well because it is this is what hardcore was untill happy hardcore came about arround 94 with the slipmatt SMD tunes then it started to take a change in direction shame now the hardcore sceane is ruined by commercial shite 97/98 saw the end of good hardcore music!!
@HardcoreBrendan absolutely! my daughter is 15 and listens to all this now and i had to explain to her that the 15 yr olds from 200910 did not create hardcore music but her mums generation did lol! i love the memories!

@HardcoreBrendan@GavBS30 Spot on, Anyone who lived through the rave scene from 1990 to 1993. Maybe i said i loved ya HAHA.. We lived the music and the raves back then that i'd love to live again.. Anyone who didnt, Unlucky....
@GavBS30 I was raving from 93 when i was 16 up until around 98. It wernt so much i got fed up with the music or anything, the venues changed from big warehouse type buildings into shity little sweat boxes. Some great memories from my raving years, something to cherish forever.
@GavBS30 hardcore ended 97-98???? u got that one wrong, the real hardcore scene ended 93 ish when jungle started to take over with all that drum and bass bullshit, the real rave scene was 88-93, anything after that was all shite...this tune was a classic tho...
@Babania1 definately mate, the early acid house then evolved into real heavy hardcore from 90 to 93 then the shite that is jungle came on the scene and all the moody little dickheads came with it, the atitudes turn sour the drugs were shite it was all over, 88-93 was a magical time, the kids on here talkin about drum and bass simply haven't got a clue.............P.S, what's your name? where you from? what u had?? the innevitable questions on the night lol, great fookin times mate...
YEEEEEEAH!!!! This is the real original way music should be sounding - and yes - Trance is really the opposite of what is good :D :D :D In Sweden we got a club that throws a few parties every year - that are called Fuck Trance LOL!!!! *thumbs up*
Back in the day when clubbing was fun and you met great people (and bumped into the same people over and again all around the country!!!!) - and you never had to worry about getting glassed or stabbed!!!
@khaadimone You got it right there... went out from 88-94 no problems then the twatts that we had all avoided in all those shitty cinderellas and roxy disco started comming through the doors to see what it was all about..two years later its full of people looking for trouble.
I remember going to a gig down south at the end of '93 and the security were a bunch of coke-heads. The vibe was nasty & that just put the nail in the coffin for me - What an absolute bloody shame.
It was great before they started allowing alcohol in the clubs, then every gig was just full of townies and morons looking for trouble.
I miss the 'Good Old Days' of LOVE, safe(ish) drugs and MEGA-happy people!
OMG seriesly thanks for this you dont know how long iv been humming this song in my head not that i mind but always wondered what song this is an now i do thank you ole chap
I recognize there a part from Moby's remix for the Prodigy 'Everybody In The Place(MOBY'S DANCE HALL MIX)(1992 Elektra). It's the same year but which was first???
rave and techno was called hardcoe back then but byte mid 90's music evolved and spawned new genres of drum and bass, garage, hard house, trance and gabber. this music shows what a classic tune is!
It's just a little question. But why is this named as hardcore? (There are more musicstyles labeled as hardcore, like hardcore house and metal, that's the reason. ) Is it because it's HARD, or PURE, or something? Please tell me :)
Because some people are idiots, or they just dont know what they're doing. I'd say if this ain't 92 jungle, then its rave. I love this one, another one that you cant help but skank to!
That bassline is dangerous, so is the dub tune its sampled from!
Exactly! Can't be arsed with these punks who say " I hate jungle, I like drum n bass tho" or "I hate techno, i like trance tho". TO THESE PEOPLE- STOP CHATTIN BUBBLES!
Yea just skank man, it is funny though when a track gets labelled as jungle, but its got a constant 2-step DnB drum pattern; but still, skank to it anyway if it gives you a feeling like any good track.
Hardcore is industrial waste like bricks , mortar, imagine a building falling down the rubble left over is basically HARDCORE, but people use it to describe music and porn, both of which are preferable to industrial rubble, well in my opinion.
@paradox2000uk I wish it never changed and I'm American who discovered the rave/breakbeat hardcore stuff @ beginning of my teen years. It's had a massive impact on my life but not nearly as many Americans can relate, but it might just be they haven't been exposed properly. (or injected with a poison) (>'-')>
Pretty much the birth of the nu skool break. I dont think the pic is telling you that its trance....Just quite simply...Trance WILL turn you into a fucking idiot....savvy! ; )
Trance music? what planet did you go ravin on? this was H H H Hardcore you know the score! next youll be sayin teletubbies was some way out underground jungle theme music!
trance is awesome, this song is too (and btw, it sounds nothing like trance) and to the ass that said rap turns you into an idiot, go listen to mr. lif. And get a fu*kin life.

@GavBS30 I was raving from 93 when i was 16 up until around 98. It wernt so much i got fed up with the music or anything, the venues changed from big warehouse type buildings into shity little sweat boxes. Some great memories from my raving years, something to cherish forever.

@GavBS30 hardcore ended 97-98???? u got that one wrong, the real hardcore scene ended 93 ish when jungle started to take over with all that drum and bass bullshit, the real rave scene was 88-93, anything after that was all shite...this tune was a classic tho...
stupove 8 months ago
@stupove I would agree with you on that 88-93 then it was the jungle era!! the golden age was 88-93!!
Babania1 5 months ago
@Babania1 definately mate, the early acid house then evolved into real heavy hardcore from 90 to 93 then the shite that is jungle came on the scene and all the moody little dickheads came with it, the atitudes turn sour the drugs were shite it was all over, 88-93 was a magical time, the kids on here talkin about drum and bass simply haven't got a clue.............P.S, what's your name? where you from? what u had?? the innevitable questions on the night lol, great fookin times mate...

@khaadimone You got it right there... went out from 88-94 no problems then the twatts that we had all avoided in all those shitty cinderellas and roxy disco started comming through the doors to see what it was all about..two years later its full of people looking for trouble.
canegang 1 year ago
@canegang
:-)
Peace!

You're lucky bro'! I was too young and couldn't get out to gigs until '91! (I'd been into the music since 87).
You're right about the MDMA though, we had to stick to acid & whizz 'cause the 'E' could've had anything in it!!!
Fantasia - Book of Love (1992), I took a chance & bought my first 'E' - turned out to be 'K' (ketamine)!!! - It wasn't a good experience!
:-[)
Peace & respect to you & all the old-school crew who paved the way for us to be able to have the great times we had!

@martoksneghvar, house music was born in the mid eighties. so was acid house, techno, garage, progressive house, breakbeats, etc.

just a epic tune of its day still sounds ace to this day
crazyjonhere 2 years ago
rave and techno was called hardcoe back then but byte mid 90's music evolved and spawned new genres of drum and bass, garage, hard house, trance and gabber. this music shows what a classic tune is!

It's just a little question. But why is this named as hardcore? (There are more musicstyles labeled as hardcore, like hardcore house and metal, that's the reason. ) Is it because it's HARD, or PURE, or something? Please tell me :)
And this is very nice tune!
JoecheiWatZijnWeBlij 2 years ago 2
Because some people are idiots, or they just dont know what they're doing. I'd say if this ain't 92 jungle, then its rave. I love this one, another one that you cant help but skank to!
That bassline is dangerous, so is the dub tune its sampled from!
ncshuriken 2 years ago
Exactly! Can't be arsed with these punks who say " I hate jungle, I like drum n bass tho" or "I hate techno, i like trance tho". TO THESE PEOPLE- STOP CHATTIN BUBBLES!
RecalcitrantBiznis 2 years ago 5
Yea just skank man, it is funny though when a track gets labelled as jungle, but its got a constant 2-step DnB drum pattern; but still, skank to it anyway if it gives you a feeling like any good track.
peace

Hardcore is industrial waste like bricks , mortar, imagine a building falling down the rubble left over is basically HARDCORE, but people use it to describe music and porn, both of which are preferable to industrial rubble, well in my opinion.

paradox2000uk 2 years ago 24
@paradox2000uk I wish it never changed and I'm American who discovered the rave/breakbeat hardcore stuff @ beginning of my teen years. It's had a massive impact on my life but not nearly as many Americans can relate, but it might just be they haven't been exposed properly. (or injected with a poison) (>'-')>
