I used to support BSL and would have crossed the street before going near a pit bull, but after educating myself after the Michael Vick mess, I think I'd like to have a pit bull for a companion some day. Thanks for the great work you are doing in rescuing these wonderful animals.

Catherine! I am in tears ~ I also think that we might be long lost animal rescue sisters. I have Ollie, a pitbull rescue that is my other half. He actually smelled my breast cancer way before I did, started sleeping with his head across my left breast everynight :( ~ the day before my emergency surgery to remove my tumor, Ollie, my athletic & never before injured pitbull, decided to mysteriously injure his paw, so had to have emergency surgery, & got to be bandaged up in bed with me! My angel
I met Catherine years ago and adopted two dogs from her organization. She is one of the wonderful unheralded heroines of saving animals. She has put me on the path to help rescue animals.

I met Catherine 12 years ago today and adopted my first cat from her. Mookie is still around (as is Spanky). She was a special woman.
