This game has a good concept, unfortunately, the gun battles are boring, you unload plenty of clips into enemies, and it IS utter shit. Not because it is different, but because it literally IS shit. Black Ops is shit, Halo is shit, and people will hate me for it, but Portal 2 in essence is shit. People will stop playing it because you can't play through it multiple times. Oh and ps3 has no games and PC gaming is dead. Obama forged his birth certificate and never graduated.

it seems like they treated it as a conceptual game, meaning that they weren't really to serious about the story or the graphics but rather the concept of jumping form one person to the next, at any time you wanted i think they just made it just because its a cool idea but i think it could have been better and im sure some other developer will look at this and say "hmmm that's actually not a bad idea but if instead you did this instead of this then it could be better"

@mophongo1 Yeah, it's the shooting style that's similar to gears of war, most 3rd person shooters have cover elements (Splinter Cell Conviction, Kane and Lynch), and thanks for agreeing with me. Most of these kids think call of duty is the shit, and in some cases it can be, but that doesn't mean you compare it to everything else

Correct me if I'm wrong but to me it looks like that if the main character dies even if you are mindjacked to some one else its still game over.. as you can see time to time you have to return to your own body.

There were a game ages ago on pc where you could freely jump from one mind to other. The name of the game was Omikron and it was the first game made by the company who made Heavy Rain...

Just because a game tries to be different and innovative everybody thinks it's utter shit and decides to compare it to black ops? First of all, it's a third-person shooter, not a first. Big difference. Second, it allows you to jump into the minds of your enemies so that you yourself aren't in any physical dange. As far as I know that's the first time I've ever seen this happen in a game. Thirdly, and i'll leave this one for you people to fill in, how the fuck is it similar to Black Ops?

AI sucks, graphics are way outdated, voice acting and story are marginal, and apparently thin pieces of glass and upholstery can stop bullets. Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy allows you to do the same thing and more, and that game came out years ago, for the original Xbox.

@Carnagedude504 Geist did basically the same thing and was just as dismal. Black Ops also had a terrible storyline with one of the most forgettable endings. Here's the problem with this game, you do the same thing the whole time and the characters have the personalities of cheesy biscuits. None of what is happening makes any sense nor does it try to give an explanation.

I'll finish by answering your last question: the similarity is that neither carries any weight in killing people.

@christinaandmarko Never played Geist, and good reasoning, but the only reason I was saying 'how is this similar to black ops' is because Call of Duty has become the Pepsi of the Video Game world... Everybody seems to compare every single game to it! I've even heard people in online matches in Black Ops comparing things like Assassins Creed and Resident Evil 5 to Black Ops, and my mind was literally blown! It was three separate genre's for christ sakes T-T

@Carnagedude504 Black Ops created is exactly that, the Pepsi of Video Games, with fans fighting to assure others it is the best compared to any other game that might be slightly similar (similarity here being guns and shooting). What this game needs to be compared to is Meta Gear Solid and then the shortcomings become more apparent, mainly because of the AI. Speaking of AI, Black Ops fails there pretty badly as well; not that it's stupid but it's very linear and unadaptive
