wie heißt das lied bei dem Film " Blues Brothers" das der schwarze (mir fällt sein name nicht ein) am ende auf der bühne singt, weil die brüder noch nich da sind?
Elwood: It's got a cop motor of 440 cubic inch plant, Its got cop tires , cop suspension, cop shocks, its a model made before catalytic converters so it will run good on regular gas. So whaddya say is it the new bluesmobile or what?
There have been many versions done of this song however, I agree with the rest of you Blues Brothers' version rocks much better. I've loved the Blues Brothers from the first time I saw them on SNL. I've been on a mission to gather all the Blues Brothers music I can! Head over to Blues Brothers Central. We love the boys over there.
@madman401 The actual oringal singer was Stan Jones in 1948 and then other artists such as Burl Ives, Bing Crosby, Gene Autry, and Johnny Cash recorded it and became a Cowboy standard. Stan Jones was a Forest Ranger to firs write and sing the song. I know my oldies :-) A Good rendition also is the Burl Ives rendition

Dan Akroyd, amazing. RIP John Belushi, your brother makes weak attempts in the sitcom business but he will never be on your level. Poor decisions, John, : ( - But we love you anyway. Let that be a lesson, don't fiddle with heavier drugs than weed [If any drug].
Johnny Cash wird hier eindeutig getoppt. Die Blues Brothers sind doch noch die beste Cover band aller Zeiten. R.I.P. John Belushi, Cab Calloway, Johny Candy
you know its allways easy to make a song better than it is. but its hard to compose a song in the first place. so it doesnt matter how good this version is, the original allways stays the first and the one that should be remembered
