Yeah, I suppose my problem with them is that they are really publicized guitars, I'm kind of an indie fag, have you checked out Eastwood guitars? I have an Airlines, I want some more of them, mic placement is definitely a factor and it constantly changes with the song and the dynamics, there are people that have done it for years and still can't get it right, at least you got good chops man.

Bah! Eastwood is bad. Only one I ever liked from them is the GP and even then It's nowhere near the original they're copying and doesn't even try to have the same tone.

Mehh I just hate LTDs, the marshall is great I'm sure but the tone setting you are using are too overwhelming, too muddy.

Yeah I think it has a lot to do with mic placement, which I still have trouble getting right sometimes. And I can understand why you wouldn't like LTD, I kinda don't like ESP in a way because they copied lots of their guitar designs. I'd prefer a USA Jackson by far :P
