  • Or you could just blow on the LCD monitor to get the dust off.....

  • just use water and tissue

  • Its just an air duster....

  • which kind of spray is that ...?

  • lol

  • Just use mostly water and a drop of viniger then take a cotton ball and get it damp then just wipe the computer screen clean. it works for me

  • can you explain this compare to your demo?

    watch?v=vqbUyNMATXU

  • You retard telling people wrong thing..LISTEN! you should never spray directly on the screen,it damages your lcd.People who know this thumbs up so others dont damage their screens..If u dont belive me,google for it and u will see.

  • @Kenbackup He sprayed it with air... learn to listen.

  • even if you use canned air, you'll still get scratches...

  • @ChiGuy16 You're a fucking dumb ass.

  • i just use a wire brush.

  • @Shroffff HAHAHA

  • @AngryMrBubbles better than cracking the shit with that spray you used

  • what spray did he use...

  • I just used a clorox wipe

  • 30% isopropyl alcohol / 70% filtered water. that's all these wipes are. Don't use ethanol.

  • Can alcohol wipes be used?

  • @animefan848 he said no alcohol

  • The best thing to do is wipe your LCD Screen with a Micro Fiber Cloth just spray a bit of water to the cloth but to sure you get the cloth damp.

  • i guess im going to stop putting my laptop in the washing machine..

  • CAn you use acohol to clean a laptop screen?

  • Comment removed

  • @marii854 yeah you can use alcohol only use 70% only,

  • well what i did was put it in the dishwasher along with all my other dishes

  • i clean my screen with clorox mispelled X_X then i use the water hose and done!!!!

  • Rocketfish LCD Cleaning Kit just get that

  • i prefer the older method of putting a thick layer of glue on the screen let it dry and its protected till it wares off.

  • I use a cordless drill with a sanding disc in it

  • ughhh igot a piano black monitor cause it was cheaper and i threw out the cover for it. now it's covered in scratches on the piano parts and the screen is covered in dirt spots... any tips?

  • where the hell do u buy those cuz im from britan, also i have an all in one computer and i was wondering if its still safe to use this method???

  • i dunk mine in the sink, and wash it along with the pots.

  • where is Dave Andrews!?

    lol

  • Thats it clean the dust of your monitor while placing the cloth on the dusty desk LOL

    OOPS

  • Yeah right, now try that on a gloss finish screen .....

  • mmm interesting .... ohh sh*t i left mine in the washing machine :O brb !!!

  • My Samsung came with a silk cloth. Therefore, I just damp it with water. Of course, my tv cannot be cleaned with anything, but water. After wiping the screen, I let it dry. Then, I take a microfiber pad, and it buffs the residue off. It works great.

  • What spray is that/?

  • @helldrag0n47 air spray, you can use an old deodorant spray with no left alchohol inside

  • hey hi dera i need some help

i was cleaning my laptops Disply with simle water i have Hp nc6000 but unfortunatly that water goes to inner side of my disply so can u plz shear some thing how can i clean it ?

  • i use destilled water (bottled water) and some lint free cloth (boxers lol) i dont get it too wet, enough to leave a light print of water, that evaporates fast, and i do half the screen vertical strokes from side to center going down, then i do the other sid, do 2 light wipes across the bottom, good to go, if some streaks are left, i wet a different part of the cloth and do that aera, works good for me

  • those suck i used a lot and cleaned it with the spray air first and as i was cleaning i noticed that the wipe the little

hairs on fall off so you are probley scratching the fuck out of your tv with these mines scratched now thank you wipes no wonder why there a $1.50 at wal mart

  • OK the best thing you have to do after use your pc cover ur LCD using some cloth.u can make one just take 2 peace of cloth and sew it.then you don't wont to clean ur LCD monitor again....

  • A LCD MONITOR FTW THAT'S SO PRO DOOD

  • what about windex?

  • @ozzfestAV Never use windex it will ruin your whole screen.

  • I used lcd cleaner an it left streaks every where

  • i got cleaner specially made for lcd and streak free. it was shit. it looked worse than before.

  • @LLOYD19851012 I actually found out that apple uses water believe it or not. Not tap water though because it has adds in it such as floride and other shit. I use water from my fridge water dispenser and just damp a cotton cloth and gently wipe it down after dusting it to prevent scratches.

  • thank you. i will give it a try in the morning.

  • no problem man. Before you try the whole screen try a small corner just in case you like your cleaner better cause you never know some people have different opinions about just plane water. If I hadn't seen that Apple recommended it I wouldn't even have thought of it.

  • your fridge water still has other minerals that stay in your screen

  • @milygalba89 ok, but nothing that is going to damage anything and is allot better then getting water from a sink with fluoride and everything else in it. You will never be able to get all minerals out unless you basically boil the water and wait for it to cool again to use it to wash.

  • @wilsonweed123 Boiling water water wont' remove minerals unless you distill it.

  • how comes when i use my monitor wipes i baught from staples, that is free of alcohol and is anti static formula, it leaves nothing but lots of treaks? please answer... this guy whiped and no streaks or anything... oh yeah and the wipes i got also say streak free?

  • the quality =[

    but it was usefull

  • Save money, use a 10% jizz and 90% water. Works a charm and is enjoyable too.

  • lmfao im gonna try that

  • is distilled water ok? let me know. thank you.

  • Yes, and if you add a few drops of urine (preferably yours) it won´t leave any streaks on your monitor.

  • hahahahaha I´ll try.

  • Wouldnt be if you had to do 90% jizz.

  • are u for real or are u just messing

  • @lemonjellies im trying to get the jizz off my screen, thats why im here

  • @lemonjellies hahahaha you sir made my day

  • cool, thanks for the tip, but where can I get those electronic wipes?

    thanks again ;)

  • i noticed that all of the streaks and stuff that gets stuck to monitors is best removed when the screen is warm and i use the screen wipes too!!!!

  • amazing...

  • wow my lcd is very clean

    thanks a lot

  • WOW!!!!!!

  • has anyone noticed that when you use compressed air, the can itself gets to sup zero tempratures becasue the expanding gas needs energy and so takes the heat from the can. i used my can for about 10-20 seconds constantly and it formed condensation within 10 seconds then froze the condensation within 20 seconds lol.

  • BEWARE OF AIR DUSTERS!!

Some air dusters contain butane and it can cause the screen to freeze and possibly crack it or cause dead pixels.

I use distilled water and soft lint free cloth. I lightly dampen the cloth and clean away.

  • Crazy I since owning lcd monitors like to spray them first with air dusters lol then clean them, But i use monster spray and towel but not aways getting perfect results. so im looking to find something new my self...

  • what do you call that spray which just have simply air inside... I think you should have mentioned the name of that product too.. does anybody agree?

  • I think it's just a can of air. You can find them at any computer store for cheap.

  • its called dust off and it cost's about $4 you can get it from london drugs or ncix

  • not funny .

  • the air was so unecesarry

  • use monster screen clean

  • Use microfiber cloth.

And I don't think you should spray stuff directly on your monitor, it might leak inside and damage the monitor. It should be safer just to spray the cloth you're wiping the monitor with.

  • that was just some compressed air

  • I'm assuming you knew the spray in this vid was just air, so you actually have a good point. You might be surprised how many frigging IDIOTS soak the front of the screen with Windex, then wipe. Some people don't have the brains God gave a gnat. Also, as you said, a microfiber cloth slightly dampened usually works great too. Just have to make sure the cloth is kept in a sealed bag so you don't get any abrasive particles stuck to it. Smokers can get film on the screen that takes something stronger

  • I've been cleaning my 3 yr old laptop screen with a (slightly) damp microfiber cloth, weekly or more often, and there's not a single visible scratch, so they work great. I clean the cloth every couple of months or so by putting it in a glass jar with water and dish detergent and shaking vigorously, then rinsing. You can get abrasive crap into the fibers if you just run it through the washing machine with your clothes. Store in a sealed bag or closed case to keep grit off of the cloth.

  • some people dont care if you fuck up you re shit , outhers want to scare you in to buying expensive alcohol i use alcohol on my screan with a paper towel think of it at 4.00 four a can of air if you claen the moniter twice a week . over time cleaning it with alcohol cen save you the price of the monitor

  • garbage village, how useful...

  • It's quite stupid nowaday .. It's a mission now just cleaning your stupid ass screen.

  • yea they should put a glass like crt

  • okay me n my dad bought a new tv we jus set it up and he got freakin greasy fingerprints on tjhe screen wtf do i do to take it off cause it not coming off :(

  • use a microfibre cloth

  • How do you get hold of this product!?

  • I have read that vinegar and water solutions are a great way to go. 1 part to 1 part ratio. Is that a safe way to go? Also what really cuts through fingerprints?

  • for those who use those wet tissues he uses: i use those and they leave lots of marks, what i do is take a fresh one and wipe one area of the screen and quickly take a fiber-cloth and wipe it dry before it dries out itself because it will leave marks otherwise, did for me.

  • i clean mine with a mallet and a chisel it works so good but the only bad thing about it .......is that ur screen might not work

  • Simply buy a microfibercloth. Then you dipp it in semi warm water, twist out as much water as you can, then just go over the screen. leaves no scratches and best of all, no harmfull chemicals

  • i just wash mine with soap and then hoes is down

  • @crazypak11

    looooooooooool

  • dude..ok i have a Samsung LCD TV...(NOT the LCD's w/ the glass covering it)....its like a pc monitor similar to this video...

ok, i have SOOOO much finger smudges on it (I HAVE NO IDEA where theyre from cuz i NEVER touch the screen, im so scared to)...yet now i DONT KNOW how to get rid of them

i hear its easy...but w/ me its not, im so paranoid and i notice spots on the screen that are so agrivating that i got a HUGE headache and am just pissed.

if ANYONE has any ideas what to do...i OWE YOU.

  • what is the name of that spray?

  • Whats the name of the product you are using, please cmnt back.

  • never use windex dude you will burn a little bit of the screen and windex is for glass

  • lol it the same and a baby wipe im useing it for the last 3years and the sceen is a good as new xD

  • i have a cleaning kit i buy it for 2$

  • good !

    but.....

you should to clean this screen from right to left and from top to the down
