When goku was in frieza's ship, the ship sank into the lava and goku flied out and pretty much stared infront of him. The stress made him yell like : NOOOOOOO and boem went the planet.

But in goku's story goku ran over frieza's ship and jumped into the ginyu force spaceship and pressed something and it activated and got away before the planet exploded.
