If I saw "Go skateboarding" on a sign I probably wouldn't care for that statement. There is a reason why the state put a sign up to prohibit something. The state is much more powerful than you are and is more intelligent. If you start defacing signs, they'll make skateboarding illegal indefinitely. I'm a skater myself and I dread the day when some dumb skaters revolt and ruin the sport for everyone.
