You haven't made one in a while so could you maybe show me how to make an imperial guard costume or a snowtrooper costume or a scout trooper costume or maybe even a tuskem raider costume. I shot all the scenes myself against a greenscreen.

The only stock footage I used was the explosions, which came from DetonationFilms.

Good video. I doubt there are many who can do better. If you want a more Star Wars feel in your space battles, use plastic Star Wars ship models stuck to a green or blue dowel rod against a green or blue screen. Thats how George Lucas did it. :)

I did consider using models on a greenscreen, but CGI allows much more complex stuff. The learning curve with Blender is very steep, and I've only begun to scratch the surface of what the program is actually capable of doing.The shots in this video were pretty simple -- as I learn more, they will get more and more complex.

My next project will probably be "Predator vs Stormtroopers". I want to make some adjustments first--I'm still not happy with my lighting (I'm still getting a greenish cast, which is apparently being caused by reflected light from my greenscreen). I'm going to try some stronger backlights and/or some weaker lights on my greenscreen. Once I find a lighting combination that looks better, I'll make another movie.

He even has a British accent. :) I used software called "Speakonia" to do a text to voice for all the voices but mine. I found that by using different words and different punctuation, I could change the inflection a bit (the hardest part in the whole movie was getting Blue Three to say "Rebel scum THAT!" at the end). It actually turned out lots better than I thought it would, and the voice tones are pretty good, for a computer that had no idea what it was saying. :)
