I just think his solos on the whole arent very creative and/or difficult, but that does not stop me from learning them. they're fun to play but i believe he overuses minor/minor pentatonic scales and combine that with a shitload of wah and there is most of Kirks style...

But if we're going to argue overuse of scales then you must not like Jimi Hendrix, Clapton or Jimmy Page? the majority of their work was pentatonic. I find them very creative. The wah is his voice, he has a distinctive wah tone. I think he's great and his solo on this song in particular only further demonstrates it. I love him, just my opinion.

I don't usually like rap. But K'Naan introduced me to a whole new genre of music, and I love it. Kirk Hammett is an amazing guitarist, and I love how he joined forces with another amazing musician to show that these two very different genres can contrast in such a beautiful way <3

Rappers like K'Naan are very abundent, especially now a days. Problem is, most people who could careless about rap, listen to rap.
