Did you feel like the ten circles were anything like the challenge of the gods from god of war 1??? And if you have not played God of war 1, 2, or 3 You honstly need to buy a PS3 and play them... @MyAccountNotYoursOk I'm glad you feel that way. thanks. And I played GOW3 for my work. I was to see if the game was "Suitable" for early teennage kids. I laughed when my boss asked me to do that, but I was not going to turn down playing games and getting paid. It was a lot of fun.

I rented the game and thanks to your guides, just finished it. I read the book last year for a Western Civilization course and it was pretty good. In the book, many of the people Dante meets in hell are people he knew (or his contemporaries) and many Roman and Greek figures. It was great to see that many of those people made it into the game.

my thoughts on this game are, i'am a big fan of these games (for example devil may cry,dante's inferno) this was pretty fckin awesome. the first time i played the game i couldn't put down my controller also.

i'm reading the book now, and a i think every single dude who liked the game should read the book also.

the 50 gates of hell arent hard but they are kinda long. it took me 2 playthroughs to unlock my last trophy. the second playtrough gave me all the achievements but only with the help of ur all items walktrough videos. thanks fella =)

@xOxPxTxIxMxUxSx I believe there is more Virgil run-ins in the DLC. Others have mentioned it and then got the achievement/trophy. Hope you do the same. Unfortunately I do not have all the Virgil meets on vid..

did you read the book? I thought the game was a 8 highest because the graphics IMO could have been better,it copied God Of War too much,puzzles fucked up the game etc

@Robdahelpa I read some of the book. The graphics could have been a little better, and I understand how it "copied" GOW, but I honestly don't see how else they could have made the gameplay. Some of the puzzles were dumb, others were nice.

Thx man, best walkthrough I've seen! As far as absolving on the game goes the cross u carry was Beatrice's. It was considered "sacred" bcuz she was an innocent and nvr sinned therefore she didn't deserve to go to hell. And when u punish the shades u send them frm there own purgatory to the depths of hell to receive true punishment for their sins. Once again gr8 job! Gonna subscribe.

I had no problem with the gates of hell arena I just threw my crosses non stop. I didn't even notice Lucifer had a ween until after the first play through when I watched all the extra videos. Thanks for your videos I mainly had to watch them for the silver pieces I had all but three on my second play through.

For countermeasures, all you have to do is block as soon as an enemy is about to hit you. I did it mostly with the little demon guys and the guys that spin in circles.

I thought the same thing with the punishing of shades. What i kinda thought was that when you punished someone, you're actually destroying the soul from existence. Idk, just a thought. And i think that i cross had like Beatrice's soul in it or it was blessed or something, which is what gave it its power. But i do love this game!

I'm a whisker off my first Platinum thanks to these. Agree excellent game. RE: About God denying him. I think its hinted in the game that Dante and Beatrice are pawns in wider mission. When that Angel comes to rescue her soul its practically stated his true purpose was to prevent Lucifer escaping his prison. Beatrice was the bait to keep him going.

That's weird. I didn't show all the locations of Virgil. I would run through the game again on easy in resurrection mode and try to get him every time and keep hitting RB to keep him talking till he disappears. Thanks for the compliments. Good Luck. Hope you get it.

hey bro great job with the walkthrough helped me alot. if you still need the gates of hell achievement i found a really easy way to do it. after you beat the game start a new one and put it on classic or easy. then save at the 1st beatrice statue and quit. then do gates of hell. it should be a piece of cake.
