I must disagree with the first statement in your description. Muslims did indeed build great universities in places Baghdad and Andalusia. Islam, like all religions, may be a stultifying influence overall, but it doesn't mean individuals who consider themselves adherents of that ideology are necessarily stultified intellectually. Humanity with its innate curiousity has the ability to sidestep even the strongest of mind-forged manacles given time.

@anu123km Percentage is not equal to numbers. The population of India was 6 times larger than the pop. of Pakistan. Overall in number more muslims came to pakistan from India than hindus and sikhs who came to India from Pakistan. The genocide of Bangladesh had nothing to do with religion. The largest victims of the Bangladesh genocide were muslims who were killed by national and ethnic reasons. Bangladesh was always a majority muslim land.
