Fuck the haters, most of those were nice old school JDM examples, with only a few ugly ones. Some of the vids on youtube have some real ugly old school beasts, but then again they ARE Japanese.... Don't get me wrong, I love old Japanese cars (Mechanically and aesthetically) but the Japanese have a different aesthetic when it comes to customizing their cars. I might find them ugly, but they're still impressive (Kinda like how I feel about fancy lowriders, butt ugly but still impressive).

It's not that difficult to take a look at these cars and see the original American vehicles they were inspired from.

I even found a "JDM" 280zx L28 valve cover in my local junk yard a few weeks ago lol. This stuff have been popular for a while its just now becoming mainstream.
