i ma a conservation student in south africa and im a tought and understand the interractions between the predator and prey and how they are neccesary in nature.BUT i am still cant help feel sorry for the prey.

@phila4sj I completely agree, I'm like that with every animal...I mean, my aunt works with lions and she has brought me out to Africa to show me the lions that she works with, and she took me out to track one of the lions that she helped to release and we saw it bring down it's prey...but I felt really sorry for that poor animal. Life continues, it has to happen, but still... :'(

Well, there are ethical reasons nowadays for being vegetarian because of some farming practices/slaughter methods, but actually, humans ARE omnivorous by nature, and neither evolution nor nature cares much about "fair".

actually yes we can duigest raw meat, if we just killed the animal that is the only reason we have to cook meat today is because of all the various chemicals and paracites in the food due to the fact that its been "raw" for min a mont if not more....

yes ur right houston this is educational information. coz a lot of people they dont know that they are in danger going to beaches were they dont know inhabited by great whte sharks.. the lesson is if they found theres a lot of concentration of seals it surely theres a great white shark patrolling the shore.

@houston81 Just saying I'm an American and I probably own and watch more BBC documentaries than I do anything else. When Discovery Channel had Life on it with Oprah Winfrey, I waited and bought Sir David Attenborough's version. Big Cat Diaries is probably my favorite show and I love basically all the documentaries Sir David Attenborough has ever hosted or narrated.
