Ugly is een breed begrip, ik vind het ook geen gezicht, maar dat is subjectief, maar inderdaad de archeologen verdienen meer ruimte en tijd..

Weet je wat het ook is, overal hebben op een gegeven moment wel mensen en stammen gewoond... En zijn dan ook wel sporen van.

Ik denk dat men het op een gegeven moment gewoon wel weet, herkennen al snel om wat voor soort nederzetting het gaat.

Het is eigenlijk denk ik pas interessant als ze ook echt iets nieuws ontdekken. Net zoals een plantkundige niet telkens weer dat éne plantje wat híjzelf ontdekt heeft, constant weer opnieuw gaat bewaren als hij het op een nieuwe plek ook tegenkomt.

Mij wat te zweverig voor zulk zwaar materiaal. De bouwers zullen vast een religie gehad hebben en daar hard werk voor over hebben gehad. Wellicht zagen ze net als jij ook gezichten en beesten. Al of niet na gebruik van interessante planten, dat wil nog niet zeggen dat die betekenis toekenning (en zingeving) ook feitelijk betekenis heeft! Het waren vast gewone mensen. Toch bedankt voor je serie, onze oudste bouwsels mogen best wat meer aandacht en respect. Jij draagt daar aan bij. Goed gedaan.

mind of the universe =minds of forefathers, wisdom of universe = wisdom elders... Then I will agree with you lol. People are localists, tribalists. Each dolmen is at the same time a territorial landmarker: this is our land, here lie our dead, so respect!The bigger the dolmen, the bigger the respect they gained.

It probably were the important leaders that were burried in them.. Those with practical insights and good judgement about war and harvest etc...

Dolmens are much more than just ancient tombs, they are the living souls of our forefathers who were connecting with the Mind of Universe.

Into this tomb-chambers would go people who had not lost the ability to communicate with the wisdom of the Universe. Those still alive and even those who might be born thousands of years hence would be able to go to them and obtain answers to any questions that were of interest to man. This required sitting beside the chamber and meditating.

It could be true, but what answers did they get? But when they communicate they are already dead??? Or where they alive whilst they asked the questions??? A bit more detailed please,..

was nice reading, how it works in real I don't know,...but it can contain truth, sad that such things are not scientificly investigated..
