Paul take any armor and weapons you find, as long as they are stronger and easier to wield than the Armor you have on and the weapon you hold currently

wood elf good at stealth and magic but lack some combat red guard good at combat not very good at stealth and lacks some magic skill orc very good at combat somewhat good at magic but not good at stealth breton very good at magic good at stealth but somewhat good at combat imperials good at magic combat is good somewhat good at stealth but those are my reasons of having a dark elf just because in my opinion are better than any other race

@TheDarthdoodles In the long run it really doesn't matter what race you choose because using skills levels them up. Therefore if you really want you could make an Orc archer who sneaks around.

I personally prefer the dark elf because they are both equally good at magic and combat and are very good at stealth but thats just me i like nords but they are not really good at stealth or magic high elf good at magic but very weak to it so if you get attacked with an enchanted weapon you die instantly khajiit only good at stealth not good at combat or magic

@MW2BoY321 I would recommend at least playing Oblivion, the 4th Elder Scrolls. The other Elder Scrolls games are a little bit more complicated and hard to grasp. Oblivion has a more relaxed feeling to it, and is still a great game in my opinion!

@MW2BoY321 I'd definitely recommend playing the other Elder Scrolls games. You don't have to play them to understand the plot of this game; they all have different plot-lines. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion was definitely one of the best games in the series.

@MrSealclubber101 Lol, I know I can't do that after I'm dead. I'm just saying that magic is incredibly useful when people with axes decide to charge you mindlessly as you can quickly kill them. Fact is, while a single epic dude may be able to take down an awesome mage alone, the warrior might be overwhelmed by multiple attackers, seeing as they're best at completely owning individuals. A mage, though, is best at just destroying ENTIRE ARMIES... as long as no one gets through.

war choices in skyrim, the imperial legion: an organized government in all but easily manipulated and overthrown by assassins, racist towards undeserving khagiits, and showing no mercy to you at the beginning of the story at all, stormcloaks: raving mad extremist KKK type members bent on turning skyrim into a stronghold for the whole nord race expelling dark elves, high elves and wood elves from the province all together...is there a good choice?
