NFL WR Niles Paul was born on the 4th b’day of NFL QB JaMARCus TRENell Russell: AUG. 9, 1989. HAITIAN immigrant ABner LouiMA was brutilized by NYC cop Justin Vlope on AUG. 9, 1997. Russell dated the granddaughter of Blues legend Fats Domino (b. 2/26/28 in New Orleans; first language is CREOLE which has HAITIAN roots) and housed Fats in post KATrINA aftermath. GLENN MILLer & Domino recoreded the Vincent ROSE/John L. Rooney song “Blueberry Hill”. MILLer’s on BLUEBIRD evokes ’89 taxi monopolies
i'm 17, if and when i decide to have kids, they're listening to all the legends of true music, none of this bullshit that's around today... i do like all the bullshit that's around today though :P
2:42 video: Fats Domino singing his 1956 #1 R&B hit Blueberry Hill; music by Vincent Rose, lyrics by Larry Stock and Al Lewis (April 18, 1901 – April 4, 1967).
he still lives in new orleans and he's still recording at the age of 83.
haha i kinda met his son this morning and we had lunch and he even called fats for me and i got to hear him on speaker phone still sounds the same almost.
"Fats Domino nearly perished in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. The legendary lifelong resident of the Lower 9th Ward stayed in his home and had to be lifted out by a Coast Guard helicopter....
Alive and Kickin' is the name of Domino's new CD. He's donating the proceeds from sales to the Tipitina's Foundation, which is dedicated to preserving and restoring the musical culture of New Orleans."
I went to see him once in the 60's at a nightclub in Virginia Beach and during his break, he sat at my table and signed autographs.....wow, that was awesome talking with him....grylangston@yahoo.com

oh jeah.... I found my thrill on Blueberry Hill on Blueberry Hill when I found you the moon stood still on Blueberry Hill and lingered until my dreams came true The wind in the willow played love's sweet melody but all of those vows you made weren't never to be though we're apart you're part of me still for you were my thrill on Blueberry Hill The wind in the willow played love's sweet melody ...........
I first heard fats domino when i was sixteen, I had never heard this type of music before. I found an LP ,vinyl . in a flat i lived in ,The year was 1966 ! Was taken aback. Have loved it ever since and realized back then that there was more than pop out there.Led a sheltered life back then.

Yeah, I know, looser, but I love this song. I knew an older couple that loved this song because it was their wedding song. I think they are both gone by now but they were so much fun and I think about them alot. So here it is.

What a Rockn'Roll legend! Of all the names that embrace that golden age of pop,
his stands alone for me. I last heard that he had suffered bad misfortune when
Hurricane Katrina made her unwanted call on New Orleans but that everyone
rallied round to help. I have a "tribute" CD that came out of that...great! But
you can't beat the originals - the man and his memorable music. I grew into
my teenage years listening to so much good stuff but he is number one for me.
Top video!

Fats is my "king of rock." His music is so timeless and never gets old. I love the blueseyness and simplicity of his songs. It's pretty cool being one of the few college students who's able to say that his favorite musician is Fats Domino ^_^ I'd LOVE to go see Fats in concert!!
