Surely to god they can not have forgot to set the flaps, I fly regulary and know hundreads of pilots and no one can seem to agree that they would forget to set flaps, they were 2 highly expierienced people. I find this very hard to believe that they failed to do this. Unless, the on board computer indicated the flaps were down, but they actualy weren't, therefore it would be a computer fault. Who knows, lets wait for the final report. RIP.

Just learned they simply forgot/failed to apply flaps before take off. That would blame the pilots and not the aircraft. Let's wait for the final results. Best wishes to the families.
