i put pliers through the ring hold on the the bow with the andpull the ring in place... i that helped at 6:51 :)

you would probably be able to use any material, but with others you may need to use a reinforcement on the inside to keep it up. e.g: a wire, cotton, etc.

Thanks for the great video! I just made a bow! I totally broke a needle sewing it togethder after all the folds, but to fix it, instead of sewing over the center seam where all the fabric was, i stitched slightly to the side, I had to make a slightly bigger center piece, but you can't tell at all! I'll up load my bow as a video responce soon!

Google "cheapcycle" and "freecycle", then look at the sites for them. Find yahoogroups for your area for both, and just keep an eye out for free/cheap sewing machines. Someone was recently offering a good one up on my local Cheapcycle for $20.00 USD. You can get some amazingly wonderful things on both lists. Great for those on a tight budget. If you make an offer on the lists, you're allowed to post a "wanted".
